Oh Flock! Comet Flying session 1

I've noticed my baby B&G Macaw prefers me to not root for her like say, how you do for Morgan when she's unsure of whether to take the leap but you can see she wants to, but prefers me to simply remind her of the treat... I'm wondering if Comet is similar in that way? Is that a 'thing'? That some need the verbal excitement push from us while others don't??
