Hi Christina, they get the fat and stuff they need to grow via the formula itself but shouldn’t be weaned onto a high fat diet like seeds and nuts. So once they start eating on their own that should still be the ideal diet. I’ll normally use sweet potato or eggs to wean. 2023-03-21 13:00:07 +0000 UTCDo baby birds that have just fledged need more food or more fatty foods since they are growing ? If so where can I find more information on this and at what point would they eat the “ normal “ amount . I’m getting a baby African Grey around 14 weeks old .
