2023-12-01 01:28:02 +0000 UTCI just wanted to add to the one foot scratching, my grey often will do it when in the cage and very much wants out, for whatever reason. It is a potential hormonal behavior and mine does it as a way to say she wants out. Like in the morning when I go into the bird room she will go to the bottom and start scratching and take a pause to look at me to see if I'm going to open the cage and continue again if I'm not doing so yet. I do like the idea of putting it on cue so when I get there I'll share a video 😉
