The Magical Revolution Episode 11 Reaction

This was a very interesting episode. So much exposition, but it was dearly needed, imo. Sorry if I'm quiet at times. Just taking it all in. I'm VERY curious to see what will come of all of this! What did you think of this episode? Are you excited for the S1 finale?

I definitely didn't expect that from her, but it makes perfect sense with how she carries herself. Such a great scene.

Oh snap! You heard mention Tomas being the one to help her, right? I could have sworn it would have been him. Nice to know the LN went that route. I agree it's jarring. Especially, since he began to speak up to Euphie before which hinted at him being in the story more.

Very exited for the rest, though reading the novel concurrently there is one thing that is kind of jarring, The anime's seeming erasure of Tomas (the craftsman that made Arc-en-Ciel). His discussion with Euphie last episode should have been a lot longer and he, not Titly, was supposed to be the one picking up Anis and giving her shelter and talking to her before Euphie showed up. Not that it's some kind of big problem that they changed it to Tilty, it's just jarring because I just read the part in the novel.

They managed to nail one of my favorite moments in the novels. The Anis breakdown scene made me tear up while reading and it also made me tear up while watching. Anis revealing herself to be a ball of insecurities felt so relatable

I can see why you say it's selfish. It is, but it's also selfless in a sense. If she doesn't do it, then Anis will go her selfish route, or that's what Euphie thinks. I'm excited to see how this plays out, though.

This is why tilty is the best character for me. I had the same thoughts she did. Only difference is I don’t see why anis can’t be queen and develop magicology. There’s more than one way to lead and anis can prove that. To hell with traditions and customs. They can both be burned to the ground. I also don’t like the idea of euphie forming a spirit contract. It’ll take away everything anis loves about her. All her feelings would be gone. It’s a very selfish decision that euphie believes to be selfless. It’s selfish cause not only does it disregard anis feelings but also her fathers.

Roronoa Zoro

Thanks for mentioning it, guess thats all the more Reason to pick up the Light Novels before some others i planned to read ^^

You asked about why Lumi took the spirit contract...well they skipped over her explanation in the anime. It was explained in the LNs so I don't know if they're somehow planning on explaining it in the last episode but I can't see that being fit in. I won's say anything about it in case they somehow fit in it but she did have a very good reason for doing so.
