Jet Li's 'Hero' (2002) is really beautiful. Stephen Chow did another movie called 'Shaolin Soccer' which is similar to Kung Fu Hustle. Two of my favorite light-hearted action films are from Japanese director Akira Kurosawa, the man who inspired George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and Francis Ford Coppola. The films are 'Yojimbo' and 'Sanjuro' starring the great Toshiro Mifune.
