She’s a single mother working for a boss who is very demanding and drives her crazy all the time (to say the least) and won’t pay her regularly. Add to it her jealous sister and the stress of the earthquake in this episode, and I’m amazed she’s even able to hold it all together. This is not to justify her actions, only to try and understand her situation. You’re right, she needs help.
