The Silas thing stopped working for me here. While I love seeing cold & unhinged Elena, the hoops the writers have the characters jumping through to justify dealing with the Silas character is kinda dumb at this point. Not to mention being half-assed about actually showing him. “Originals” came at a good time when I was losing interest in TVD. Still interested in continuing to watch along with the guys reactions all the way through as I originally stopped watching somewhere in season 5. 😆
