Thanks for the reaction guys. Its a murder mystery with heavy horror elements so its best to try keep up with the details to uncover the mystery. The series is structured into seperate self contained arcs, but they all work to piece together an overarcing story. Season 1 has 26 episodes mostly comprised of the Question Arcs, season 2 Higurashi Kai has 24 episodes and is the season that answers the mysteries with the Answer Arcs which leads to a final conclusion of the story.
