Added 2022-12-07 01:27:15 +0000 UTCTo the surprise of no one, I'm not happy with this strip, but it's evidently the best I could manage even after over week. Mrgh.
So as I said earlier, this strip marks the end of my 'taking my time to polish it up' approach. I'm returning to a focus on speed and output. I know most of you have encouraged and supported working at my own pace and I'm grateful to you all for having that patience and willingness to indulge me. Unfortunately the slower updates have cost me a fair amount of Patrons so I'm gonna have to try and produce as much content as I can, as fast as I can. And I'm going to try and do it without sacrificing too much in the way of quality. Easier said than done, but hey, I've got bills to pay and I'm running out of bread to pay them with~
I'll be focusing on fast, two-panel updates every few days. Unlike how I've been doing, by releasing the pencils, then inks, then colours, I'm just going to post all at once in a single post the way I used to. This means more, faster updates and no more long pauses between updates while I fiddle with the line art.

2022-12-15 03:08:59 +0000 UTCWell, it certainly looks like Trina's adapting to their situation a lot faster than Michelle is (Trina making far tighter turns, along with her leaving Michelle in the dust), despite all of the Judiciatrix training that Michelle went through in the past; training which should normally mean she'd be the superior pony. I'm now starting to get the feeling this big difference is due to the fact that both their personalities had been altered by Blackstone, with Michelle being left unable to use any of the past skills she has learned which might require a far more dominant mindset (Blackstone having done so to keep Michelle under her full control), with that Judiciatrix training being one of the things which has been sealed away, meaning Red Knight has to start learning how to move quickly and gracefully around on this kind of shoe all over again! Still, Trina (with her being in her Black Knight persona) is currently charging right at Aventurine and she is also showing no signs of even slowing down, something which Aventurine has belated realized (with there being little to no time to dodge out of the way) and she seems to be worried about what this could mean for her... Wonder if this will the moment when Aventurine will learn to use whatever unique special gift Blackstone's given her now? This certainly seems like Trina's trying to figure out just how much freedom she's currently allowed by Blackstone, for use in her future escape attempts. Even if Trina does successfully overpower Aventurine, I don't see her leaving them at this moment, given that Blackstone might punish Michelle for it! I'll just wait and see what will happen next though... Don't stress out here, OK?
