Okay then, that's new! I had been wondering if Xor had something to do with the current situation (given that Nora would be in a perfect postion for him to cover up any information which could lead people to discover that he was still hanging around in some shape or form, along with him preparing some kind of grand plan to get his revenge on people), but Laura (or whoever's using her appearance here; given that they seem to know just who Xor is and I don't know if anyone in this setting [apart from Nora {as his host} and possibly Evita, since she has been working towards her goal for a very long time, this potentially implying that some knowledge about Xor might have been passed down to her from other parties] even suspected that he might still be around, unless this is one of Laura's ancestors who is helping out their descendant) helping to provide a power boost for Evita (with this boost even making Evita's body change into a golden form, with both her hair and eye colour changing colour); now THAT was a really big surprise indeed... Wonder how exactly Xor will deal with this situation then, given he clearly wasn't expecting this outcome and the power currently coming off Evita's body seems to be enough to both shatter the collar which was around her neck and the mind control sigil which Nora (or Xor, since exactly who had been in control of Nora's body at that point in time wasn't too clear to me) had been using to try and break Evita's spirit? Seems like he's about to lose in style. I'm certainly curious to see just how many pages will be left in this comic though, since I'm getting the feeling that this version of Xor will not be able to recover from such a powerful combo attack like this one (or at the very least it won't be something which will covered in this particular story)! That and how certain characters will react, once the dust settles from this battle, since I could certainly see this version of Trina being not totally comfortable with becoming a part of Evita's family; even if Evita did have some good reasons for doing what she did... As for Nora? I can see her being in the dog-house for her own part in things (and I mean that statement in the most literal sense).

Woah. That's certainly a surprise. I love the contrast of yellow/red throughout the strip, and the way Laura takes over the struggle for Evita is heartwarming. At the same time... I am a tiny bit disappointed that Nora was being possessed by Xor. It's certainly a good explanation for why she's so evil in this timeline - probably better than anything else I could imagine, in fact - but I think part of the reason I was intrigued by Ced6 is BECAUSE the characters were such a 180. Other than their appearances, everyone had their personality and roles completely reversed. And the fact that it still came down to "the battle between Laura and Xor's souls" rubs me the wrong way just a little bit. It is a VERY minor issue, though, and I'm still incredibly happy with the series as a whole :) Just wanted to throw my two cents out there.
