As a deep-dive scavenger, she had recognized it as a vital resource, as its coated steel hull has remained surprisingly intact and was considered a gift to the armory of Tiki's floating base, some 100 meters above her currently. Tiki, aside from Llulu, was one of the very few who could perform and retain logical thoughts at this depth. Although her vision was blurred and marred by the water pressure, Tiki would often look at the metal animal corpse (as she thought) and noted that the barrels that grew from each of their bodies were all poised in one direction. They probably died together, and them being froze in time sometimes gave Tiki an eerie feeling.

My guess is this would most likely be not a navy facility but an abandoned marine biologist research station. I say not navy as usually when military personnel abandon a site, they destroy the equipment so I cannot be used or studied.
