Even when I watched these performances before the 2022 Festa video I felt a bit bitter sweet. The bitter feeling was the sadness of saying goodbye to a chapter of BTS that I had only recently discovered. Despite that there was the sweetness of looking forward to the new chapter and hopefully some concerts. And then the Festa video came out. When I watch these performances now, that bittersweet feeling is still there but, oddly, I feel more sweet about it. You were right when you were trying to describe the vibe that this performance gives off....it's almost intangible. I thought I would feel super sad watching these because it is so much more of an ending to chapter 1 than I expected, but I don't. There is something about them here. I feel like you hit the nail on the head when you described it as a "we are going to be ok" feeling. That's it. It is ok that there is some sadness because the "past was honestly the best" but, alongside that sadness, we can be happy for them. Happy that they are doing what is best for themselves as individuals and as BTS in the long run. The fact that these performances are so stripped back feels like they are presenting their authentic selves to ARMY; they are showing us their heart. I am so excited to see what comes next <3.
