In this episode, I hated seeing him win but at some level I had to appreciate what he accomplished. His strategy this season to defeat Stannis was flawless. Stannis is recognized by everyone he's one of the best if not the best military mind in Westeros so for the shitbag to out-maneuver Stannis is pretty impressive. Even when Ramsay finally lost in season six, it took a giant ass pull from something nobody could have really planned for. Ramsay Bolton's cruelty and brutality is probably worse than Joffrey's but he's lightyears smarter and made his character pretty terrifying throughout the series for me.

I just re-watched all of it (minus the last couple episodes) because I was reading the books and wanted a solid reminder of what was different between the two. Such a phenomenal series man. Full of heartbreak, hatred, love and happiness. It's crazy how they make you WANT to see a character die so much that when it actually happens you literally feel joy from their death. Reminds me that we're not so far off from the fans in theColloseum in Spartacus, which is another series you should definitely check out. Gannicus is that mf dude and I know you'd be lighting a joint or two up in his name lmao

2022-11-30 00:32:54 +0000 UTCI hated season 5, TBH. Not sure why I kept going, but this was, for me at least, an awful season. There were some good parts, true, definitely. But they were overshadowed by the Sparrow storyline (the plot I most detested in the entire series) and all the over-the-top and senseless things. While GoT always pushed the envelope, I felt it that in season 5, it lost the envelope altogether that had the *real* script in it. But now Tyrion and Vanyrs [sp?] are with Danaerys, or at least in the vicinity. Cersei got at least a little bit of humiliation. And now Jon's watch is done. His vow to the Watch was until his death and not beyond. Gilly and Sam got away, too. You will never have to worry about liking Stannis. Good riddance to him. Shame the redhead witch (I *despise* the character) isn't dead in this, too.

Also, the big guy you saw pick up Cersei is the Mountain/Gregor Clegane (The Hound's older brother) - he is the one who killed Oberyn. You saw Qyburn take his body and start doing experiments with it.
