Even the weakest MCU movies are better than almost any superhero stuff we had 20 years ago. The Spider-Man movies are outstanding. Black Widow rocks. Shang-Chi is damn good, and has some of the coolest stuff in the MCU. The Loki and WandaVision series are weird and fun. Sam & Bucky get their own show, and it kicks all sorts of ass. Moon Knight and Eternals are weird but good, Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk are charming and fun. Werewolf by Night and the Guardians Holiday Special are fabulous. Thor 4, Doctor Strange 2, Black Panther 2, and the Hawkeye series are fantastic. We have Ant-Man 3, Captain Marvel 2, War Machine has a movie coming up, ...and don't forget we have Fantastic Four and Blade on the way. This journey is rolling along strong. You basically just finished the first season. I would highly recommend you keep watching. Even if you don't do it for videos, just to watch and enjoy.

The whole period is about loss and rebuilding. Each show and movie portrays how Thanos affected the entire world. The first phases where all leading to End Game. Now, everything is leading back to something worse than Thanos. Someone who has been manipulating engine everything and everybody.

The movies are still good. People told you that Age of Ultron wasn't any good and you saw it was a great movie. They told you to skip Captain Marvel and you enjoyed it. Don't make your decision based on others opinions. Just because someone doesn't like a movie doesn't mean that you won't. I personally think you should keep going. I think you'll be surprised.

Watch it first, if you enjoy it, then you'll more than likely enjoy the rest of what phase 4 has to offer. It's not just that it's "woke", when they fail to provide well written stories, didn't even have to be well written, just make sense... they were choosing to insult the fans for being critical. Honestly, the only thing I enjoyed out of phase 4 was Spider-Man and the "What if..." series.

Marvel does have some garbage in the multiverse phase but, Loki, Wanda vision, Shang chi, and Spider-Man no way home are gold. I wouldnāt blame you if you needed a marvel break at this point. DC has some gems as well but I know you may not want to get the studios crossed.

2023-01-04 19:59:13 +0000 UTCSome people hate on Falcon and The Winter Soldier because it has some political/racial aspects but that's understandable since the issues they address in the show are prevalent in present day America. A lot of people hate on She Hulk for the lack of story/villains and acting which is fair but plenty also hate on it due to the same reason they hated on Cpt Marvel. It has a strong female lead who is independent and isn't overly sexualized like Black Widow throughout the MCU. Should have seen the uproar online when there was twerking involved lol. Then there's Ms Marvel. This show also has racial undertones and addresses some of the issues that Middle Easterners face in present day America. I thought it was eye opening and I enjoyed that show more than Loki, WandaVision and Hawkeye which were all three excellent for being short lived series made to tell some extra stories and fill in some gaps/ answer some questions between the movies. None of these shows are meant to be on the level of a big screen movie but some deliver nonetheless. It all depends on how YOU view it. I would say it's good for kids and young people of other ethnic backgrounds to see a hero that looks like them, that goes through the same struggles they have gone through. That's how you create relatable characters. Not all of us are going to relate to the same characters or even like them and again that's fine. Art is subjective. Two people can watch the same movie or show and come away with two entirely different perspectives of the message they received. Sorry for the book. Again, this is not fact, just my personal opinion from my own perspective of what others have been saying already. There are plenty of justifiable reasons to not like the shows, characters or stories but this is what I personally see the most of.

All Iām gonna say is Spider-Man: Far From Home is next and the final movie in phase 3 and the end of the Infinity Saga. Phase 4 is the beginning of a new saga. Itās called the multiverse saga. The multiverse Saga is heavily based around the multiverse. Thereās about 3 different multiverse movie series you can watch while you watch shows, so between episodes I would recommend watching those movies Those multiverse Marvel movies are the following 3 universes 1-. Sam Ramis Spider-Man universe, it consist of 3 Spider-Man movies with Tobey Maguire - I know youāve said youāve seen the first one 2- Marc Webbās The Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2 with Andrew Garfield 3- Fox Studios X-Men universe. You can look up how to watch those in chronological order or order of release, up to you You donāt necessarily need to watch the X-Men universe unless you want too. I would highly recommend you watch the Spider-Man movies tho BEFORE phase 4 Spider-Man No Way Home. But as of rn Spider-Man: Far From Home would be next

I'd only recommend watching the Spider-Man/Venom movies, since they're Sony and not part of the political garbage the MCU became. I can't smoke myself stupid enough to tolerate watching anymore. I will say though, I grew up on comics, collected near a thousand of them in my teenage years. Leo, if you haven't already, watch Cabin in the Woods. It's horror/comedy I think you'd enjoy.

So Caps moment when he stood up alone to Thanos and his army is the essence of who Steve Rogers is. No matter how many times he's knocked down, you can't keep him that way. He can do this all day. Also, you Skipped the damn credits! There was a really cool tribute to all the actors including the Original 6 Avengers you really should've seen it. Stan Lee was in this. It was the guy driving by the military installation and yelled to "make love, not war!" That was the last cameo. Sadly Stan Lee passed away in 2019. But his legacy lives on in these movies. Rip the goat Stan Lee. And you said Tony was selfless. Yep, he proved Cap wrong in the first Avengers movie when he said that Tony isn't the guy to make the sacrifice play. He's done it twice. And Cap proved Tony wrong here in Endgame too. Tony said that everything special about Steve came out of a bottle. Well, no amount of Super Soldier Serum can make someone worthy. That's something you have inside of you all along. Steve was worthy of the power of a God. Oh yeah and one other thing. Tony never made Cap a shield. Remember, in Civil War, Steve dropped the shield because of the fight he and Tony just had. He yelled that his father made that shield. Tony simply kept that Shield, cleared out the scratches made by Black Panther, and gave it back when they made amends. Thats the same vibranium shield he's had since the start. And Thanos broke that thing. That should tell you how strong Thanos is to be able to break Vibranium. You got one more movie in this phase, Spider-Man Far From Home! After that, maybe take a break from the MCU before Phase 4 and check out the X-Men movies or the old Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies, plus the ones with Andrew Garfield. Those are super important to watch in the MCU cause they are gonna become really important. Of course you don't have to, you can just continue the normal MCU, but at some point it's definitely good for you to see the Spider-Man movies and the X-Men. The only reason they aren't actually in the MCU is because of legal reasons. Different companies have owned the rights to certain characters in the past, so they weren't all in the MCU. But thats since fixed and now they will definitely bring those other characters in soon.

2023-01-03 17:01:00 +0000 UTCThe real problem with the MCU after Endgame right now is that it's just a collection of random movies with too many new characters and nothing tying anything together. The only exception right now is Spiderman and Doctor Strange, and maybe Thor. The rest is just random. Pretty early in the MCU we knew it was going somewhere, and every movie was building to it. Now it's like the MCU is just throwing movies at the wall to see what sticks, and I can't see them fixing it. Maybe the MCU did the buildup to Infinity War too perfectly and it's just impossible to top. Or maybe they are trying to create a bunch of little spinoffs that they can just keep spinning into more shows and movies - unfortunately that would just be about the money. All that being said, I'm still watching every one, I just haven't figured out why.

Shang Chi, Spider-Man No Way Home & Doctor Strange are all amazing movies. Falcon & Winter Soldier, Loki, Moon Knight, What If?, really all of the shows on Disney+ have been great, but not everyone shares the same opinion. Leave it up to your gut, but I would give Phase 4 a chance before counting it out, as much as you've enjoyed the movies I think you will enjoy what comes next.

It will be revived when phase 5 launches, but phase 4 is just a huge lull, which is understandable. Don't think they are worth the binge as content. Maybe on your own time to keep aware, but phase 4 has been the weakest phase by far.

The momentum starts over a bit cause you can't really top this over and over. But don't stop with Marvel. There are many more great stories and characters to come still. You got phase 4 that just ended in theaters, and stage 5 starts this year. All the movies till now is one big build up like a roller coaster. After this, everything starts to build up again for a few years. It will be worth the wait, don't skip on any moves or D+ shows. It will all be worth it in the end.

Here's my take on the next phase and why so many dislike it: Phase 4 introduces many new heroes and stories while introducing the "big bad" of future phases. Speaking from experience, coming off the "high" of endgame, people chase the dragon, so the speak; and expect the same emotional payoffs and world changing implications as endgame. But phase 4 is not telling the same story as phase 3. Itās more akin to phase 1 if any, only on a broader scale. The Infinity Saga and its payoffs are wrapped up with a bow and we enjoyed the hell out of it together. Now it's time to watch a new Saga with new stories, implications, new and returning heroes and villain's. Come down from that Endgame high at your own pace. Watch other videos and come back to the MCU in your own time. Also, I'd love to see your reaction to and thoughts about Bo Burnhams music and comedy. More importantly in making your reactions special, you always catch the emotional beats and resonance, and feel deeply for the characters. So much of what comes next in the MCU (WandaVision and the latest Black Panther to name a few that spring to mind) are meditations on grief. These characters and this universe have been through some serious shit, and it shows in their imperfect and very human approaches to how they proceed from here. As Vision said to Ultron, a thing is not beautiful because it lasts. But I would add that it still really fucking hurts to lose whatās beautiful. MCU really delves into that in a way that has been healing for me personally. I hope it will be for you too. In another vein, I think youāll love the Black Widow movie!

If you want to carry on with the Marvel I think you should, but go at your own pace .... the thing is, before it was all building to Endgame, but now its all building to a film that won't be out for another 3 years, so we really don't know what's important to watch, we'll find out together in 2026. If I may submit this suggested viewing order: 'Spiderman Far From Home' > 'Loki' > 'Shang-Chi' > 'The Falcon & The Winter Soldier' > 'Eternals', then do a few stretches and eat an orange slice because you're probably going to want to watch all 5 pre MCU Spiderman movies and also the first season of 'Daredevil' for good measure, Then; 'Spiderman No Way Home'. I dont wan't to overwhelm the situation but from that point on I think there is a serious argument to be made that you will need to watch the Fox 'X-men' Movies, should you want to go down that path then after your X-men detour it would go; 'Wandavision' > 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' > 'Hawkeye' > 'Moon Knight' > 'She-Hulk' > 'Thor: Love & Thunder' > 'Werewolf by Night' > 'Black panther: Wakanda Forever' .... This isn't exactly 'the' order, I just thought it would be a relatively satisfying order to watch them in, what do you guys think? I left out Ms Marvel because I thought it might be better to watch it in the build up to the Captain Marvel sequel releasing, man its tough to figure out a good order to watch it in past Endgame, it's 5am here so I might be making very little sense in all honesty

There's a lot of good stories, characters, closure and movies lined up for the future and if you don't watch them now you'll just end up wanting to see them later on when stuff gets good again to catch up on what's going on. There will be bigger and better villains/stories to come. Some of the shows are good imo like Ms Marvel, Loki, Daredevil and especially Punisher but that's all my opinion and many may not feel the same way. Many praise WandaVision but it didn't do it for me until at least the 3rd episode. All depends on what your own outlook is. That's the beauty of art whether it's in the format of music, media or something else. It's subjective. What you like the other person may not and that's okay. Do you and we'll be here to watch whatever you decide to watch with you. Well worth the wait btw. Cheers.

There are a lot of mediocre shows that aren't worth the time. I also want to recommend the DCEU, but that was not really well received. I think you'd love the movies though. You should definitely watch a Superman movie. Either Man of Steel or the 1978 Superman (or both)

Hardcore MCU fans will obviously disagree and if hey, if you're super into it do you, but as someone who thoroughly enjoyed that MCU phase, I wish I stopped at Endgame. I just hope you don't get too much flack from the MCU fanboys or the haters. All I can say is as long as you're invested in the movie/series, I'm down to watch. Leo you got a great personality and you're fun as hell to watch. I'm sure it's hard to ignore all the negative comments and shitty, entitled people who think they should control how you react/watch you react to. Keep doing you, man!

Then Scott...Went out that morning, his daughter a kid, 5 hours later he comes home because of a rat, and? She's a nearly as tall as him teenager! When Steve picks up the hammer though! He and Peggy got their second chance, and dance! Finally? When you think about it? The ''Avengers snap.'' happens this year, 2023! Wanda nearly kicked Thanos's butt! So worth the wait - Leo? He lost a lot of blood and was airlifted to a hospital to receive surgery but as of this writing he is in stable condition but has a very long road to recovery. Threw me off seeing him in the opening scene with everything that's going on. Rest up Jeremy Renner and smoke up Mr. Video!

So you missed a couple things that were amazing. So Caps moment when he stood up alone to Thanos and his army is the essence of who Steve Rogers is. No matter how many times he's knocked down, you can't keep him that way. He can do this all day. Stan Lee was in this. It was the guy driving by the military installation and yelled to "make love, not war!" That was the last cameo. Sadly Stan Lee passed away in 2019. But his legacy lives on in these movies. Rip the goat Stan Lee. And you said Tony was selfless. Yep, he proved Cap wrong in the first Avengers movie when he said that Tony isn't the guy to make the sacrifice play. He he's done it twice. And Cap proved Tony wrong here in Endgame too. Tony said that everything special about Steve came out of a bottle. Well, no amount of Super Soldier Serum can make someone worthy. That's something you have inside of you all along. Steve was worthy of the power of a God. You got one more movie in this phase, Spider-Man Far From Home! After that, maybe take a break from the MCU before Phase 4 and check out the X-Men movies or the old Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies, plus the ones with Andrew Garfield. Those are super important to watch in the MCU cause they are gonna become really important.
