Poll for Urban Warfare Scatter

Wowzah, super overwhelmed and excited about all the ideas for this one. Was surprised to see the strong interest in makeshift shelters. I think that is one well suited for this patreon.

Lets vote for four (4). Assume all rubble is composed of stone and a range of wood building parts and home furnishings.

Some options are compiled due to slot limitations. Thanks a bunch, I think we will be pulling ideas from this poll deep into 2022! Feel free to leave a comment for other ideas if you are late to the party:)

Yeah that is a counter point, I guess it could offer a blend if it was mixed with small gravel. Maybe partial doors, floor, framing, and window sections could add a bit more meaningful flavor to mix in on scratch build areas.

Keep up the GREAT work!!!

Sure, at some point the question becomes why are you printing gravel when you can just use gravel. But amalgamated materials, like rebar sticking out of broken concrete, or pipes and conduit sticking out, or part of a step & stringer, could be manually modelled but the print adds value in convenience.

While I was thinking more improvised, scaffolding kits could be really useful.

That looks like a good combo idea. Is the idea on the scaffolding that it exists for workers to fix or enforce ruined walls?

Thanks mark, I was thinking on this, the way things look between buildings and the road, that could work out nice. I was also wondering if loose rubble would be a useful asset. Like 20 mini busted building rocks and broken planks that could be printed and scattered like loose debris to fill in areas? What do you think of this notion?

People in war-torn towns still need shelter, so your 'walkways, bridges, and platforms' category could include scaffolding and braces to hold up walls and doorways to help ruins be habitable as camps.

I have been planning to scratch-build a Daikini Crossroads (Willow) scene for some time, hanging cages like that would be handy. Many people make scatter rubble, what I don't see much of is piles of rubble made to go up against a wall of some other model. Instead of a mound, half a mound. Inside corner, outside corner, straight, tapering off, etc. Use with a little model clay to snug up against any old wall (or failed wall print) to clutter up the ruin.
