Renders test prints for May + Need requests for Library Scatter

Still have a lot of details to get done so I'm going to let the pictures do most of the talking on this preview. New Items not prviosly touched on include a dark age Ice house and Grain Silo.

Industrial stuff.

We have a giant water wheel, I'll include a loose one for people who want to scratch build with it. It will visually align with all three machines. Giant gear can go on either side or both for a mega machine.

Trip Hammers will come with three styles of hammer. There are slots for 2. Gears can be put on either side of the trip pin.

2 Ore Stampers can be aligned on the water wheel gear on one side. I have three trays and 1 stampers with the tray merged for an "action shot" type affect. Looking to knock out a few more detail items for this.

The giant blast furnace is the final Item. Had to totally remake the trip mechanism from the the last preview to make it believable. Plenty of images above. About a 24 hour FDM print for the tower at .2mm. Here are a couple images showing the mechanics on this.

Plateaus and Hills

I made 2 plateaus and 2 hills. I'll do a set of taller ones next month. The plateaus are larger and cut up to 4 parts for 8x8 FDM beds. As you can see from the test prints, you will have room left over for most moderate size buildings.

Ice House and Granary

Long over due ice house and granary that should fit into a bunch of scenery. The ice house will have an inserted floor so you can resin print it clear or blue for ice. The idea is to imply the deeper ice stack. An actual ice house would be a pit filled with ice, I will include a model without a floor for anyone who wants to scratch build into their base.

I went ahead and removed the legs from my granary by dropping it on the floor. At that point I decided it would be better to offer three heights of stones to stack it on. I have seen these things at many varied distances from the ground so this is better. Roof and door come off and there is some space inside for bags and boxes.

Need Ideas for Library

I want to put together a poll for library assets. I can do a regular library but am interested more in a rotting one. Rotting stuff takes much longer, doing both is slower still, so keep that in mind when making requests if you want quantity over variety. If you have wagon ideas you can add that as well. I accidently threw out the wagon poll from last year so I need to redo it. I already have a bunch of ideas from you for it but pile on if you want.

Ah Monks made cheese, that is why

Thanks Cristian. I'm not 100% sure on the process. Would they have sifted for iron? would it have just been simple screens? I guess I could make a vibrating triphammer device for sieve operations. I haven't run into historical documentation on this. Can you help point me in a direction?

So cool! So water flow for the set up is 1) Ore Stampers (at feed level) to feed furnace with crushed material then 2) the water falls to drive the furnace bellows and 3) then flows down stream to feed the trip hammers for the mine’s blacksmith! Is there a sifting stage between the stampers and the furnace? Again, SO COOL! Thanks!

We'll get plenty of those in there:)

I was imagining what your detail orientated sculpts would do with quills and inkwells.

Thanks Mike, yeah I have some vellum and scribe stuff left to do that I can roll into the library stuff. I was looking at a hand powered waterwheel type mechanism I found where there is basically a series of shelves with open books that spin around for making duplicate copies by hand. Obviously we can throw in some regular scribe desks as well:)

How about writing desks for transcribing documents?

Hi Rob! LOL, I'll take a look at cheese making assets, you put the cheese where you want:) Also, why is there cheese all over your library?

Stacks of books—the more precarious the better! And random wedges of cheese, some half eaten and forgotten about. And a tiny mouse—not sure why but a mouse seems necessary.

Robb

And I'll add this on as well!

Thanks Mario:)

Thanks Mark, I'll get it on the list!

Nice! I have a bunch of Mine related stuff lined up for June as well!

Library: stacks, pedestals, tablet racks, scroll aparatus, drawers for large flats, tables, chairs, stools and ladders for vertical access, a cage for special collection/forbidden tomes, paper-friendly light sources (not open torches), globe, chart-hanging for a wall, transcribing station (16th century copy machine)...

Great work!

Library: one function of a library is to preserve and repair, so rotting versions of a few pieces from your paper making set would be appropriate.

Not gonna lie. My players have a mine and ironworks. I've been looking for exactly this everywhere. It's exactly what I need and exactly when I need it.
