Orc Wasteland Fort Video and January WIP Previews

Well, better late than never, put together a little overview of our Orc Wasteland Fort before taking a deep dive into the holiday season. Below is an overview of some stuff I've been working on. More is coming but it will likely be in the detail-resin-furniture area as contact with FDM printers will be inconsistent for the remainder of the month.

9 Standing Stones

I've finished up test printing these, they will be in 2 parts, a couple will be 3. Stones in the badlands are left in all types of strange configurations that look almost staged. Tried to capture a bit of that with these.

Orc bashed Dwarven Stone Carved Furniture

I have a set of vandalized Dwarven stone furniture I'm working on. Right now it is mostly basic stuff like chairs, tables, a bed, shelves, and a fireplace. It is all scaled to the dwarf waist line. The natural stone looking tables shown in the image are just that and are scaled regular height.

Art Frames

Working on a set of frames so you can hang art in your houses. This is something I've been wanting to do for a while. Most of these are scaled to depict large wall paintings but there is a few portrait size 28mm frames as well. The intention is that you scale down and print out tiny pictures and then cut it down and glue it to the back of the frame. Painting are large, fragile and awkward. I think they would make a a cool thing to transport magic or spirits. In RL art is a great way to duck taxes and launder money. Basically there is a lot there to work with, hopefully these frames will help. I've test printed them to make sure they are thick enough that they will not let you down.

War Table

We have some odd furniture in the works, This table is one example. Intended to go in your evil general/wizards war room so they can plot victories on the field of battle.

Larger Orc Houses

We are doing some multi-family units here but nothing that will exceed a couple 8x8 build plates. I've enjoyed developing these odd orc houses that seem to make less and less architectural sense but have become more fun to look at. These newest ones start to feel like a weird wasteland hobbit home. I expect I'll let these be a last of it for a little while. Time to go underground for a bit.

Orc Furniture

I've started messing around with trying to figure out some orc furniture. Probably will just do simple stuff like sleeping pallets, some beat up chairs. I have a shelf but can't figure out what an orc would need a shelf for. We'll see how it goes....may have to go the wicca route to make sense of it.

Lighthouse Ruin

I'm considering releasing a small ruined version of the lighthouse on patreon with the alternate base from stretchgoal 9 (i think). Still a ways to go but probably not a time consuming build. We had a lot of new people invest in our models on the kickstarter. I had worried it was all folks from Patreon but it turned out not to be the case. Anyways Kickstarter doesn't seem like the same social hangout it was 2 years ago when I did my last campaign. I don't think people are looking around or exploring the campaign as much anymore . Short story long, I'm thinking of this as a way to entice some more of those new folks to give the Patreon a look. For everyone else it will be a short tower ruin.
