CHANGES IN PATREON PAYMENT POLICY

As I'm sure as many of you are aware, patreon is changing its policies so that YOU the patron now must pay the transaction fees that creators were covering before!
This will go into effect on December 18th and I'm frankly VERY upset by this new update.

You will now have to pay 2.9% + $0.35, PER PLEDGE
If you pledged 10 dollars to a single creator, you'd pay about $10.64 if you pledge 1 dollar to 10 creators you'd pay 13.80
WHICH IS UNFAIR AND HARMFUL FOR PEOPLE ON A TIGHT BUDGET BUT WHO STILL WANT TO SUPPORT MULTIPLE CREATORS

I was totally fine covering the transaction fees myself, and many creators agree!
This new policy is supposedly done to give creators more cut of the pledges, but it really hurts us and you in the end!

PLEASE HELP ME TRY AND CONVINCE THEM TO RESCIND THIS TERRIBLE POLICY

Subject: Do not change payment policy

“Hello, I am very unhappy with this new change in policy. This new payment policy will make it difficult for me to support the many creators that I love. Most creators have stated that they also oppose the new change and would happily eat the fees to help out patrons. A few extra cents a month might not sound like a lot to you, but for some it really makes a difference. Please do not implement this change so that I can support the many great creators on this website!

I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND IF THIS NEW PAYMENT SYSTEM MAKES YOU UNABLE TO SUPPORT ME!!
And I have always said it's important to take care of yourself first before pledging!
Please do not feel guilty if you need to delete your pledge!
But do please answer the exit survey and make sure Patreon knows the reason you are doing this is because of their BULLSHIT NEW SYSTEM.

With any luck, I hope to at least make this new feature optional, but, we gotta fight it together!!!
