Added 2018-08-25 05:31:30 +0000 UTCHaven't drawn a good Amaranth in a while. I swear, his hair changes from piece to piece. He works hard to cover up his embarrassingly dumb-looking ears, surely. I should probably endeavor to make him look more wizard-like than I typically do.
Although the drawing itself is greyscale, I applied a gradient map on top - which maps specific values of grey to specific colours, sorta like I've replaced the grey with other colours -- non destructively.
That's why it's yellow/red instead, with red representing darker values. Though I manually adjusted the black/white values on top to push the lighting a bit more than what was originally there. Still, a fairly simple sketch, and nothing to quite write home about.
Don't forget to eat AND sleep.
