Early Access Video - Corvoidea Phylogeny

Hi Patrons, Jason here!

1.   Thank you so much for supporting Clint's Reptiles. You guys are amazing.

2.   As you have early access to these videos, please let us know if you catch any mistakes or export issues. They are bound to happen, and I would love to catch them before they get published for the unforgiving world to spot. You are our first line of defense!

3.   Sometimes we need to schedule the release of a video. When that happens, YouTube forces us to change the video status Unlisted to Private. Unfortunately, that cuts off your access. We try to delay this until Friday night (Mountain time zone), so be sure to utilize your early access before then.

4.   I try to get these Early Access Videos uploaded as early as Monday every week. Trying to maximize the early in Early Access Videos :). That doesn't always happen, but that is my goal.

5.   Comments in Patreon = I will see. Comments in YouTube = Clint will very likely see (and sometimes me too).

6.   You guys rock!

When Clint says 'start', cue the 'Circle of Life' sunrise montage, because we are going to have some fun.

oh right, woops 🤦🏻‍♀️ my bad! Thanks for the reminder! I was just worried something had gone wrong. ♥️

Sorry about that, see number 3 in the post description above.

Is the video not showing up for anyone else? I can see the Patreon Extras one no problem, but this one won't load. It's giving me a grey background. YT says it's private.

Corvids are way up there on my list as well. I feel bad because our local crow population is bullied badly by seagulls - here in Wisconsin. While I love our great lake for being our "freshwater ocean," which is far enough from either coast (one would think), the additional 8 miles inland is nothing to them. And as much as the crows usually get a breather during winter, there hasn't been much of one this year. :(

This was awesome! Clint mentioned the possibility of a future video dedicated to corvid intelligence. When you guys get to that, perhaps consider reaching out to Dr. Kaeli Swift. She has a very entertaining instagram account named "corvidresearch" and posts lots of content about corvid behavior and intelligence. I believe she did her thesis on corvid funerals, which is fascinating little ritual like behavior that they do when they encounter a dead individual of their species. She's quite entertaining and I could easily see her being willing to engage in some kind of collaboration on a video. Just a thought! Thanks again for everything you guys do! https://www.instagram.com/p/Cya4joaxVhz/?hl=en

Corvids are the best!

I did recall a bengal episode: https://youtu.be/Cv8QwwQNQJw?si=XDpNjI6dnOP2WxtF Looking into the looking glass. Maybe we will have a poll for next year's PhenPheb later on this year for more another fuller big kitty/hybrid/best pet video. Ill be closer to being ready to have one myself post grad school. Having worked with an ocelot before myself to help people out, because of size and intelligence/need to be more social, not an entry level pet. For now, great this new video is out!! ❤️ [edited for clarity and bump the link to the top]

Looks good to me!

Have you ever thought of doing a video on "[wildcat] the best pet mammal"? Specifically I'm thinking servals and caracals. People see Floppa etc (and Floppa is the saddest meme in the world imo) and think that wildcats are an animal that can live in a domestic environment.

Hi everyone, Jason here! We are a bit tight on the timeline, sorry about that. Please let us know if you see any issues that needs to be resolved. Thanks!
