AI is being let loose to learn from whatever it finds online, not paying anyone for their content or hard effort of producing/researching, or having a way to vet it. As Clint mentioned, it lies all the time because it assumes everything it finds is fact. And all those creators, scientists, artists, programmers, get 0 compensaion for all their efforts being swallowed by the beast and then being sold for pennies while the originals are tossed aside because heaven forbid we pay more than a few pennies for someone's hours worth of time and resources to create something.
