Move Complete, Vacation done...back to work!

BEHOLD, my work station is finally restored to its former glory!!!

It's been nearly a year since my move from London to the north of England, and it's been a long, tedious, sometimes depressing ride. I spent the initial 8 months staying at a houseshare in which I had very little privacy (it had thin floors) so I couldn't stream or do much of anything socially. Thankfully I was able to move out of there after my contract ended and into a place of my own.

In the end, I didn't end up where I had originally intended, but I must say that I really do like the building I ended up in. It's a converted textile mill and all the brick and metal work is exposed and it has a really cool industrial feel to it (as you can see in the photo)!

Anyways, things have been pretty quiet around here for the past couple weeks and I apologize for that. After my buddies from London helped me move into this place I basically had two days before I had to be on a plane to Canada...then, when I got back from visiting a friend in Toronto, I had three days to get things done before getting back on ANOTHER plane to the Netherlands to visit another set of friends!

8 months in isolation was starting to affect my mind and it felt really good to hang out with people again :3.

This scene was literally around the corner from my friend's place in Gramsbergen! The Netherlands are truly beautiful (if a little flat). I like MOUNTAINS and the Netherlands has zero mountains which was a little disappointing but I still enjoyed the rest of my stay there. It was really relaxing to get out of the city and breathe some fresh air for once.

Now, with the move out of the way, and my mind refreshed by my vacation, I can get back to work! Thanks again for bearing with me through this time of upheaval everyone. I'll continue to do my best to be worthy of your time and moneybills!
