Pestonya is very much a minor character- in the anime she's only seen in couple scenes so far (and one of them is a short, after-credits scene). Her outlook and treatment of humans is what intrigues me so much about her. Where most of the inhabitants of Nazarick pretty much despise humans, Pestonya is neutral, if not friendly to them, so usually when a human that's not an enemy finds their way to Nazarick, they're dumped onto Pestonya to oversee. Apparently after a bit of misadventure she ends up running an orphanage in E-Rantel, which I find to be adorable :3.
