The thing is, you're a real person with a real life, and we understand (or at least we should!) that real life comes first. Hopefully things will settle down soon and you can stop needing to be the responsible decision-maker and go back to being a gremlin, yeah? (And I agree with DC, some selfishness is healthy, it doesn't make you a bad person!)
