Kim Heeyeon was sitting in a car parked near Daehyuk’s cafe.

‘We are going to the department store. What exactly are you planning?’

As she sat in the passenger seat, she glanced at Daehyuk, trying to figure out his intentions. But no matter how hard she thought, she couldn’t guess what was on his mind.

“Why exactly are you going to the department store?”

“That’s still a secret.”

Heeyeon was irritated by his mysterious attitude and stared out the window.

“Wait a minute. Aren’t we already past the department store?”

“I’m heading to one a little farther away,” Daehyuk explained. “You don’t want to risk running into someone you know at a nearby department store, right?”

She stayed quiet, understanding his point. Department stores are crowded with all sorts of people, and it was possible someone familiar with her or Kim Jisan’s family could see them together.

Heeyeon didn’t want her acquaintances to spot her with Daehyuk. Still, she kept silent, not wanting to confirm his words.

"Hey, Heeyeon! I'd feel bad if you ignored me. What do you want me to do today, by the way?”

"... Ugh!"

 “I don’t want to do it.”

“I can’t accept that. By the way, did you enjoy your date with Seorina?”

Heeyeon felt that if she stayed silent, Daehyuk would keep pushing her to talk. So, she answered reluctantly.

“Of course. It’s much better than being with someone bad like you.”

“Oh, really? I’m proud of that.”

“What are you proud of?” she asked, confused.

“Huh? That’s right,” Daehyuk said, a smirk appearing on his lips.

Heeyeon couldn’t help but feel embarrassed by his words.

She recalled her last date with Seorina. When she made love with Seorina, it had felt much better than usual.

She was preoccupied with Seorina that day, but she didn’t explicitly say that she liked her more than usual.

But when Daehyuk asked that, she found herself recalling that day again.

She thought, “Oh no! It’s only because I like what Seorina is doing. Never… My heart will never break because of this man.”

It wasn’t a bad idea for Heeyeon, but she also knew it was his own way of thinking that led him to this.

 “Okay. I’ll just wear them,” she agreed, deciding to go along with the swimsuit show.

“Let’s go inside and take a closer look.”

He encouraged her to try on various swimsuits.

“Oh, isn’t this cute?” he said.

 “You are noisy.”

Next was a typical frilly bikini.

“Oh, this is perfect. Show me the back, Heeyeon.”

Then she tried a business-style swimsuit that clearly showed her body lines.

After the fashion show, he gave her a sly look.

She turned away, her face bright red.

He leaned in and whispered softly into her ear.

After teasing Heeyeon enough, he approached a store clerk.

“Over there.”

“Yes, sir! Have you chosen a swimsuit?” the clerk asked.

“Please pack all the swimsuits she tried on.”

Heeyeon glared at him when he returned with a paper bag full of swimsuits.

“You bought them all?”

“Of course. They all suit you perfectly, Heeyeon. Good choice.”

“There’s no need. I don’t even have space for them at home.”
