Dagan! Just wanted to say that Clair de Lune is a major motif in the Evil Within series. You guys should do a Knockback about that. Just started the episode but I’m excited to hear both of your thoughts on Fight Club.

LOL. The collect call trick is the best.

Colin Moriarty

I’ve been moving states this month, and that has resulted in about seven, eight-hour road trips. Each trip has resulted in a minimum of three Knockback episode listens. Can’t tell you how many times semi-truck drivers must have thought me a mad-man due to laughing hysterically at the Moriarty brothers antics. A particular favorite of mine was Dagan’s explanation of cheating the system of collect-calling from the movies. You all have made the time pass like a cool, autumn breeze. *fast voice: “Hey, it’s Paul, thanks for all the episodes, bye!”

Paul Robertson

We hope you enjoy.

Be safe!

One of my favorite movies of all time. Cannot wait to listen to this. I have to take a train for 2 hours tomorrow so this is perfect.

I'm excited to start this episode. The topics have been fire lately

Interesting. Been a long time since I've watched Heat.

Colin Moriarty

Loved Fight Club, I watched it earlier on during the pandemic for the first time. Lots of movies from this era I haven't seen, and this podcast has given me many new things on my watch list. You're right about the connection between Mr. Robot and Fight Club, it was cool to watch Fight Club and see the connections between the two when I didn't know it was derivative. Not sure if you've ever played it, but the game A Way Out is a very similar premise to the movie Heat, and made me enjoy both more when I realized that.

Still read it! The book does something’s different than the film. Also, it gets really into the minds of the couple. The book is written in first person introspective view with the chapters alternating between the husband and wife POV. It really gets into their minds. This is one of those, the journey is more important than the destination, scenarios.

Al Rodriguez

I feel like the book won't have the same impact because I already know the twist.

Colin Moriarty

Easily my top ten film. Thank you for covering it, and covering it well! Fincher is underrated IMO. BTW, please read Gone Girl, dude I thought the film was good. The book is amazing. Completely different experience!

Al Rodriguez

Glad to do it!

Colin Moriarty

Such a great movie. I’m glad it won the vote

So glad to have provided my own little piece of influence on the knockback catalogue, can’t wait to sink my teeth in
