Kirill works on content generation and photo editing at Samsung's AI Center in Moscow, and he's come to Sacred Symbols+ to talk about some of the many ways artificial intelligence is infiltrating gaming. There's generative text, of course, and lip syncing, too. (Did you know Horizon's lip syncing was done by AI?) There's dynamic lighting and ray tracing, single player design assisted by deep learning, online matchmaking, difficulty settings and economy management, and even the basics of art and design. In short: AI is currently changing video games forever, and it's far more than just enemy design, which is what "AI" has always meant in our industry. Well, no longer. Now it's an entire discipline every player should familiarize him-or-herself with. Allow this podcast to be the very first step.

Have the money to operate and fine tune these A.I. I'm sitting here thinking yeah thats what skynet is tho...an entity with the bankroll and government influence enough to create these things. Also china. 😰

In the coding industry, GitHub via Microsoft released an AI "co-pilot" that can write code for you based on simple descriptions which can be absolutely disruptive if perfected. AI will soon be touching all facets of human life so it was super interesting to learn more about it. Thanks Colin and Kirill!
