Sacred Symbols+, Episode XXXIV: Making Twin Breaker
Added 2020-03-27 16:00:05 +0000 UTCSomehow, I (Colin) helped making a video game that came to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita mere days ago. Indeed, it's been quite the journey, and for as hard as I might have worked, developer Barry Johnson of Lillymo Games worked substantially harder. He's the one that approached me to make this game; I was lucky enough to merely be along for the ride, give the brick-breaker a story, and help evangelize it to the public. Now that it's in the wild, though, I figured it would be a good time for Barry and I to sit down and talk about the process of making Twin Breaker, giving you guys and gals as much background information as we possibly can. Where did the idea come from? What's it like working with Sony? How was it passing QA? What would we do differently? Can you expect it to come to other platforms? Will we work together again... and if so, on what? We talk about all of that -- and much more -- on the other side of the play button. And, hey: Thanks again for supporting us and our game. Without you, none of this would be possible.

Maybe when you do a lets play you two could read your parts as if you were recording your lines for the story. Hearing the two characters with each of your voices would be awesome. With the delay of the last of us part 2 do you believe it's fair for Naughty Dog/Sony to delay the game indefinitely due to logistics concerns or should they release a digital experience for those that really want to experience the game early even though it could cause some major spoilers for those that ordered the game physically. Extremely insightful, very open regarding the behind the scenes info (you bought into Lillymo, so it really IS permanent!), this is awesome news. I'm so proud of you guys. The trophies being named after songs was my favorite part of reviewing the game, I laid the songs in question underneath while the trophy title showed on screen. Excellent touch. It was really interesting hearing that the Sacred Symbols logo wasn't approved. I'm not surprised, I get it, and I was indeed thinking when I booted it up, "wait where's the logo?" I really enjoyed hearing you guys talking about what it's like to read reviews from the other side (obviously Barry's been there before, but it's your first time) and how that feels. I think the future is bright, guys. Thanks for the entertainment, as always. Stay safe!

Love the game and my wife and daughter are also surprisingly into it. My wife is playing it on vita and it’s her first time touching a vita. She’s never looked sexier so thank you for that.
