New Hypno Dream Minigame
Added 2025-10-08 18:36:54 +0000 UTCA few days ago, I asked you if you ever play MindWare locally and without internet access. I created the poll because I recreated the hypno dream minigame from scratch using a proper 3D engine but, as a result, ran into browser security restrictions (CORS policy) that block local file loading into WebGL contexts. Basically, images wouldn't load when playing MindWare locally unless you used a local server.

My initial decision after seeing the results was to go ahead with the 3D engine and create a slightly modified version of the minigame that wouldn't require any images.
However, I quickly came to my senses and realized that I would just be creating more work for myself. So, I've put together a 2D version of the minigame, and it works without any issues locally.
To see it in action, download the latest beta version (only the minigame has changed in this special release), and either start from Chapter 2 (the first sleep should trigger it), or use the Extra Options menu to jump to the following passage: "DreamWebP-Test"
