2023-12-01 05:51:13 +0000 UTCMy only problem for this arc was Nojiko's character, they supposed to have a strong sisterhood bond, she was Nami's only allied in the village, her emotional support, where Nami could go and hide to grieve in her childhood home whenever she would come back, but instead they made her act like a bitch, treating Nami like a traitor and spitting at her.

2023-11-29 23:23:35 +0000 UTCnerd warning: i feel the live action did enough but the writing was off. the village should have been aware and pretend they didn't know like the original. That way nami could look like a fool and give more weight to nami's breakdown. They cut the scene where nami tried to fight her village from rioting which is a shame. I also wish they showed Bellemere getting shot and make it black and white like the anime. still acting was on point: B- overall.
