Today, weโre diving into Madison Beerโs 2021 album, Life Support! ๐ Before this, Iโd only heard bits and pieces about Madison, mostly through a few TikTok trends. So I wasnโt entirely sure what to expect. But I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by several tracks on this record.
While there were definitely a few skips for me, the album overall had some standout moments that showcased Madisonโs potential as an artist. Her vocal performance is undeniably strong. The production leaned into lush, cinematic sounds, which was nice. Even the moments I didnโt fully connect with still carried an air of authenticity that I respect.
All in all, Life Support was a fun listen, and itโs clear that Madison is carving out her space in pop music. How did y'all feel about this one?

2024-12-14 21:38:29 +0000 UTCI think homesick is more about feeling like you donโt belong, or that feeling when youโre thinking โI just wanna go homeโ but youโre already home because youโre missing that sense of comfort In lyrics she said something about how her parents said they met in the moonlight but she didnโt believe them because she belongs in space so that must be where they met

2024-12-13 23:07:00 +0000 UTCThis album is so so special to me. One of my favorite ever, probably also because of the personal tie I have to it. I was in a very abusive relationship at the time. And this album hit very close to home. I donโt go back to it as much to it now as back then, because it reminds me of that time. But I think this album is so real and so beautiful and so so so vulnerable. I love her so much. And I love this album so so much. Loved that you enjoyed so much of it. :))
