Proofreading is Finished
Added 2019-03-12 08:25:58 +0000 UTCHi, everyone! Just want to let you all know that the proofreading of the next build is all done, thanks to our volunteer. I'm currently testing and see if there's any bug, as well as making sure that there are enough tools for you to help defeat Kailano. As soon as I'm done with them, I'll push a new update to Itch.io right away.
For now, here's a gif showing what Kailano is capable of. This moving the character around should be useful when I work with Tharsix boss battle, since he has a lot of grapple moves, and it's hard to show that with just a battle effect animation.

Hi, I'm sorry that you're frustrated from his fight! As I said before when we changed to this fast release plan, we can't guarantee that the game will be balanced right due to time-constraint. While there is some luck involved, there should be many tools available at the bathhouse and at the fortune teller store for you to help making the battle easier. - Volga learns skills such as Ground Slasher and Sweep Draw that will bind the opponent on cleanhit (attacking them when their guard is 0) These skills also destroy gems on the board in a predictable pattern so you can use them to get rid of his airborne gem as well. - There are magic skills that buff your parameter as well as getting rid of Bind status aliment. Blazing Strength will increase your physical attack and remove Strength Bind. Wind Dash will create Speed gems that let you charge physical skills much faster and remove Agility Bind. - Damage over time such as Bleed, Poison and Burn will deal damage to him even when he's jumping or when you're playing defensively. Miasma spell will help ensure that these gems are protected and won't be destroyed easily. - You can also go with Ice + Arctic Armor. Arctic Armor creates both Magic and Physical Resist gems that reduce damage greatly if there are many Freeze gems on the board. A skill like Frostbite is a good skill for filling the board with Freeze gems. In any case, I'll keep adjusting the game difficulty for sure. What the absolute F... There were multiple attempts at fighting him where he would shred through two layers of armor in a single turn. despite being level 10 armor inner and outer.

I love how characters move around when they're attacking in a game like Romancing Saga too. Feels good that I finally managed to put this into the battle animation system :) - Punipen
