You speak of it like its some kind of science. But things effect everyone different for different reasons. Some people have taken lives and felt nothing. But Armin felt someting for he been justifying all he done with the "they man eating monsters, and im protecting humans" but now he killed a human, not a monster, in protecting his friend, not humanity. Its not the same, and makes him question his actions deeply. But in the end its more the shock that the thing you were fighting to protect can now also be you enemy. Like would you amputate a finger to save your life? would you be able to cut it? and would you also not live questioning if you could have kept the finger some how. Also I think the biggest thing people struggle with is not the act of doing a crime. Its the "oh shit, now im in the same group as the other people who have done this crime that i oginaly hated" coming back to how we social creatures that we all bottom line are, always care about what group we belong to and hate being left out or kicked out of a group we build our world to be with.

The first was a teacher who you allso see in the opening, he was Erwin`s father. The other ones was a couple trying to fly away and over the walls, thats actually Armin`s parents!! And the last one was Historia`s mother. Some facts for you if no one said it. idk if it comes up later tho xD

One thing i'd point out that does get overlooked by a lot, i did on my first watch, is that kenny says levi's full name when he kills merchant man which is kinda interesting for theory crafting. Also one thing they cut out from hange that is one of the coldest lines is "Morning sannes, i can't kill you so... right or left? Which testicle do you need less" or something to that effect. They a straight up menace.

2023-03-22 08:50:15 +0000 UTCThe animation of that Levi scene man, completely blew me away. Seeing Queen nerd out on that scene and analyzing it was cute too. Blasted from above, Queens response "sounds like a good time to me" never change Queen XD The morality here is so interesting, I believe it inevitably boils down to "you are the hero of your own story". I'm too naive to really comment further but I think its more that you understand your choices, why you made them and how you see yourself after your choices.
