The bath scene was necessary to show Hayato's MASSIVE BALLS OF STEEL. He's a child, has no stand or any kind of ability, and backed a superpowered serial killer into a corner solely by threatening him with words. I won't spoil other stuff since we're almost done with part 4, but he has a few more badass moments before the end. Stands are the manifestation of your spirit, and if Hayato had gotten hit by the arrow, his stand would have been insane.

This season finale is so friggin good. I like how bites the dust is a more esotheric ability, it's more fun to puzzle out how to even begin to beat it.

Ahh not the right video, (forgot which one but was gonna add this then, oops) but I still say "HunterXHunter" with the X since it rolls off the tongue with my accent easier - just as if I were to pronounce it in its katakana form phonetically /without/ the X wherein it would, in that case, not roll off my tongue so easily /with/ it (ハンター×ハンター, Hantā Hantā). Strange quirk, yeah...but that's the way the cookie crumblies roll down my tongue, EYYYYH (blehh) :s
