Spider-Man: Homecoming

:D lil fun on Valentines Day

Comments

fun fact with this movie. 'karen' (the ai voice in spider-mans suit) is voiced by jennifer connelly. Who is married to paul bettany...who voices jarvis. so essentially iron mans ai and spider-mans ai are married in real life.

fonz lopez

At the end there you literally stopped just before the last post credits scene.

Jacob Funckes

in most cases, theres a clip after the 1st credit rolls that has like graphics etc in the background.. and then theres another clip after all the black screen credits...

Zolfried

I think you are right. Also amazing movie.

Cameron

This is the entire list including TV shows: Captain America: The First Avenger. Captain Marvel. Iron Man. Iron Man 2. The Incredible Hulk. Thor. The Avengers. Thor: The Dark World. Iron Man 3. Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Guardians of the Galaxy. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Avengers: Age of Ultron. Ant-Man. Captain America: Civil War. Black Widow. Spider-Man: Homecoming. Black Panther. Doctor Strange. Thor: Ragnarok. Ant-Man and the Wasp. Avengers: Infinity War. Avengers: Endgame. Spider-Man: Far From Home. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Eternals. Spider-Man: No Way Home. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Thor: Love and Thunder. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The Marvels. Deadpool & Wolverine. Hawkeye. Loki. I may have missed a few but thats pretty much all marvel movies/tv shows excluding xmen movies

Keith Gastel

I mean technically there is alot left if you count all of the new movies (not including TV shows) there is around 10 movies left

Keith Gastel

Comic Peter is older and has more experience by now, he's not the nerdy kid he was when he started as Spider-Man. Plus his personality depends a lot on who's writing him.

Malkalypse

I think the next one is Black Panther and THEN Thor Ragnarok.

Serpentking789

2 more movies to go holy shit

Potato

He wants Peter to be better than them

Malkalypse

Tony is really one to talk about someone dying on Spideys watch, how much of New York was flattened during The Avengers again?

Wurzaags Morky Mischeif

I meant more in terms of his design. I don't doubt that the character was cool, but the look is just cooler in the movies.

N00B

I get what you mean, but on the bright side of that, at least we’ll have Spider-Man movies to count on if Marvel stays in its current gloomy state.

Yovan_Night

Spiderman is peak but wish they had let him be an equal rather then pitching him as a next generation legacy hero in the mcu. Shit dude was a potential avenger recruit before hulk ever joined the team

Charlie baker

Yeah this movie is far worse then later ones, i remember leaving the theater pissed between a dude yelling at the screen and how sorta bad this movie was as a comic spiderman fan

Charlie baker

Yeah its just an unfamiliarity with the character, peter parker had 2 different girlfriends before ever dating mary jane

Charlie baker

Hes the most like the actual character funnily enough

Charlie baker

Its not subconscious, its entirely a conscious effort for peter parker. Unlike alot of characters who have mental blocks, peter is actively holding himself back

Charlie baker

Nah vulture had his moments especially in the 90s animated show, dude would steal youth

Charlie baker

Yeah spiderman couldve easily manhandled vulture when he pulled a gun and exposed dude for drawing on a teenager then boom hes arrested end of story

Charlie baker

Haha they been around longer then green goblin even

Charlie baker

Most 15 year old dudes i knew in highschool absolutely were not this beholden to adults

Charlie baker

Very much agree that spiderman has historically been infinitely bigger then iron man and firecly independent of him

Charlie baker

Tracks its definitely the weakest spiderman movie

Charlie baker

Definitely hate how much it babys spiderman and treats him like a b lister when hes more established then iron man

Charlie baker

Eh it depends spiderman has historically delt woth alot more world ending shit then most of the avengers

Charlie baker

Definitely agree the mcu treats spiderman as a b lister despite him being more popular and higher selling then the entire rest of the marvel universe in comics. Like dude iron man is a b lister in comic books who doesnt sell a quarter what spiderman does

Charlie baker

Hes probably my least favorite just because of how seriously a threat they treated the vulture ,alot of this movie infantilizes hollands spiderman which deeply bothers me as spiderman is a self made a lister and far greater then iron man as a character. Its like the movie just spits on classic spiderman comic fans woth how it treats the character

Charlie baker

Eh spiderman does get to around 100 to 150 tons but yeah thor and hulk are vastly above that

Charlie baker

Eh i dont really see how he feels like comic peter unless you mean ultimate peter and even then holland is much more like comic miles morales then peter parker. Comic peter is an empathic but very head strong and hotheaded dude, hed be much more likely to keep arguing with or try to punch iron man then to accept scolding once tony revealed he came in person

Charlie baker

Oh i only liked her because they ditched her randomly spouting information at people whenever they talked to her and she didnt just mock people anymore. Gotta remember shes their au take on mjw so she came off as really unlikeable in that framework , same with this wimpy version of flash who seems like hed be even less liked then peter. She wasnt really coming off as bluntly honest, she came off as incredibly standoffish to even talk to.

Charlie baker

Huh personally, the whole reason I liked her as much in later movies was because of what they did in this one. Maybe it's because I heavily relate with how much she values honesty to the detriment of relationships and needing to find balance between blunt and kind.

Rhodair

Alicia thinking the villain is dead for a minute lol. Conditioned by previous Marvel movies.

Jeff

I love Tom Holland as Peter :D It feels close enough to Peter in the comics (mostly him as Spiderman) that it gets my nostalgia rolling while different enough that it fits into the present day and age and story they are telling.

Yurei Okami

Now she will catch the next one for sure XD XD XD

Yurei Okami

I didn't catch that Donald glover is Miles' uncle Aaron til this watchthrough ooo

Josh

And then after that, black panther

4 EYES

Personally I think this whole “he has Thor-level strength but he’s always holding back” business with Spider-Man is silly. Like I know physics wise, web swinging probably takes a lot of strength. But I don’t think he should be any stronger than someone like Captain America.

Rakoon Shampoo

I always remember Spider-Man being able to lift cars and can get up to a bus if he's really pushing himself (10-25 tons) whereas Venom can lift a tank (60+ tons)

Rhodair

for something as important as what Peter was reporting, Tony should have definitely reassured him that he has it (SPECIFICALLY what it is) under control. Peter thought he was on a time crunch and wasn't getting any feedback on it

Clumsy

LETS GOOOOOO!

JoJo

yyyyyyyeeeeeeessssssss

Dragon Slapper

At one point, Spider-Man was officially stated to be the 4th physically strongest Marvel Comics hero (the Hulk, Thor, & Ben "the Thing" Grimm hold the Top 3 in that order IIRC). Granted, this was back in the early days of Marvel Comics when the roster of characters wasn't quite as vast as it is nowadays, so I have no idea how Peter Parker ranks in raw strength compared to Luke Cage or Colossus or Captain Marvel or Squirrel Girl or any other newer characters, but he's very definitely below the Hulk & Thor yet firmly above Captain America on said list. Dude is very easily capable of tossing cars and lifting dumpsters.

Serpentking789

That’s for sure the next best one, but that should be the last one she watches since it leads into the next major movies.

Sean Kibbe

next up should be thor ragnarok which I know she will absolutely love

Cameron

Spiderman is said to be able to lift 10 tons, however, the passenger ferry he was holding together in this very movie weighs like 2100 tons. REgardless of it being split in half or how the webs might be taking some of the edge off, he definitely pulls waaaay more then 10 tons, which is shown kind of often. He is also been shown in comics to go toe to toe with Hulk several times and be able to take a hit from him. Spiderman is always classed at mid level, but is almost alwasys shown to perform well above that.

Noah Benden

Spider-man is in the Medium-weight Super-strength Class with Luke Cage and Colossus. He’s got super-strength, but he’s literally outclassed by guys like The Thing, Namor, The Hulk, Thor, and Iron Man

nervouspirate

Alicia missed the second after credits scene. how unfortunate

Pixel King

I forgot that Donald Glover was in this

Kaltrec

100%

Gaming University

Not much but will you be watching the animated spider verse movies?

EnbyGiraffe

He really isn't. Thor and Hulk're capable of lifting in excess of 100 tons. Spidey's strong, but not THAT strong.

Adam

Definitely the weakest spiderman movie, glad they actually made zendayas character likeable in later movies because she was just super hard to watch in this

Charlie baker

also i recommend watching the andrew garfield spiderman movies before watching the 3rd MCU spiderman...

Noah Benden

YEAHHHHHHHHH

kingslayer201721

Alicia, SPiderman is as strong and as durable as Thor, he can fight the hulk on even footing

Noah Benden

When you look at a fictional school like this, you’d think it’s a good program, but to get into one of the good schools you gotta either get really good grades or win in a lottery type system.

nervouspirate

I would highly recommend everyone checks out Jenny NIcholson's skit on this movie. The happiest I've ever been watching an "awkward conversation" scene.

Sawnderz

Finding out Toomes is Liz's dad is one of the best twists in the MCU. It was such a gutpunch in theaters.

Simulacrae

Pretty sure it’s not a private school, it’s a charter or magnet school or something. Long story short New York Public Schooling got absolutely fucked by Bill Gates and other billionaires, so public schools don’t really exist like normal there anymore.

nervouspirate

Hang on. Does this mean Alicia has never seen Birdman? Please watch it. It’s such a good film.

Bowman C.

My thoughts exactly. That's just the local scenery.

Dale Cooper

dood thanks for the info, didnt know about that.

the_dood_999

Invest in commas

Gai Valentine

It's New York, no one is going to care about a guy stripping in the alley.

Thomas Gabriel White

The suit is not meant to train him. He is supposed to get trained and then tony would unlock the suit. Tony wanted peter to just do what he was doing before civil war while the avengers were moving

Lightinger

There are other factors. Ultimate Peter Parker was set to die and they were going to replace the character. Axel Aloson, the editor in chief at the time, is also hispanic. There was a cultural change towards more racial diversity with Obama becoming president. And as you pointed out, Bendis did adopt a daughter from Africa and wanted characters that she would be able to relate to. The same can probably be said of Riri (Iron Heart) the black Iron Man.

Daniel Hyena

The "Guy in the Chair" in Kim Possible is Wade. He is dope. That is all.

Joy the Black Dragon

she relates because of the injurie and his recovering journey, she said so herself.

Daniel Hyena

eh I enjoyed the next 6 movies. Then probably nothing until GoG2 and deadpool 3.

YukoValis

This is the closest we'll ever get to batman vs spider-man...lol

Joseph Zen-aku Kaga

So? They're just teasers for the next movie.

Anzac-A1

1:55:26 In the comics, the most Spider-Man has ever lifted is roughly 130 tons. He's crazy strong when he tries.

Anzac-A1

None of them really matter.

Anzac-A1

Mostly the same. Theres things I ENJOY sure but the writing drops off hard. But No Way Home, Loki and Hawkeye are all things I enjoyed. Mostly for the actors

Rowdeemunkee

after Endgame I fully checked out, just noting interesting after that

Icy

The voice Karen specifically said "Congratulations on completing the rigorous Training Wheels Protocol" That implies there was a training regiment in place before he could unlock the full suit. It also later showed being capable of teaching him the abilities with lessons. None of this at all was told to him by Tony. At the very least give Peter a manual or something.

YukoValis

The program was not a training program, it was a protocol designed to limit the functions of the suit until Tony thought Peter was ready to access them all. Like, the thing has an Insta-kill mode, you probably want to make sure Peter is ready before you give him access to all that tech. Why would Tony need to tell Peter about the FBI sting? Tony very clearly had trusted Peter's word that he was going to leave Vulture to him and Happy, as seen by his phone call to Peter.

BirthdayParty

But... Tony was giving clear signs that he was listening to him? Like, the writers made sure that Tony constantly references things Peter writes in his "reports" to Happy. Implying he either directly listens to them, or he told Happy to tell him whatever Peter was up to, no matter how small. Tony was being the most communicative and supportive to Peter out of almost all of the other characters he interacts with except maybe Pepper.

BirthdayParty

What's fun though is that, at least for myself, past Phase Three here I have borderline *no* experience with. So it'll stop being a revisit with Alicia's reactions and a genuine blind viewing, and I'm excited to try these films that I never gave a chance to on my own!

Koirby

a lot more, I enjoyed the spidermans and GoG3. the rest? didn't go to theater to watch or haven't watched. the tv shows? I thought falcon was good, didn't watch the others. I'll see cap brave new world when it comes to stream, it may ramp things up to be good for a couple movies

Silver Blade

Don't say that just yet, there are still some very good movies after endgame, the quality just fluxuates a lot more

Loki

Yeah i hope she watches them before no way home when she eventually gets there. Edit: these next 6 weeks are going to feel like forever.

Charlie

Anyone else realizing we seem to be very quickly reaching the end of peak marvel?

Rowdeemunkee

I wouldn’t say that exactly, but watching the spider verse movies before amazing Spider-Man is an odd choice

Barbaryen Boy

Bro seriously the fantastic four movies are so unnesecary

Ben Yokes

Ohh that’s cool though

Barbaryen Boy

On the roadmap spreadsheet it’s say’s shes going to react to the two spiderverse movies as well as fantastic four 2005 then ragnarok, fantastic four 2007 then black panther, so we’ll have to wait a bit longer. Assuming she only does 1 per week, But I’m still excited.

Charlie

Lol, missed another credits scene!

Tico Machi

What’s your rush?

Yaboi7117

2 more movies

Ben Yokes

No they will just take up more time

Ben Yokes

*Pauses with a minute thirty left on the bar* "Okay we're good" ;-;

Chronos Hoffman

I do agree about Tony. All that blame was put on Peter, when Tony was the one who didn’t communicate! The kid was getting NO feedback like how was he supposed to know Tony was actually listening to him! I say they both screwed up there, and I wish Tony would have apologized for not communicating more

Clumsy

Highly recommend Andrew Garfield’s movies.

Yaboi7117

Yeah this is the level spiderman should be dealing with

Maddie the witch

LET'S GO THANKS QUEEN

Easy Mode - A.I

Spiderman can take a punch or two from a raging hulk

Maddie the witch

I agree, but it could have been so much worse. That plane was one wrong move from crashing into the city.

YukoValis

So a realistic 15 year old?

Ryuuji Gremory

Well when he actually got the bad guy there supposedly were no human casualties and while there was some property damage it was contained and likely easily payed for by stark industries, after all it was their plane that did it.

Ryuuji Gremory

Still missed an end credit scene right at the end there :>

Paw Peter Kiss

So in the end you can be as dangerous and destructive as possible as long as you get the bad guy. At least that is what I took out of this. I blame Tony a lot though for not telling Peter about the FBI sting or the training program in his suit. He literally had to hack the suit to find out it HAD a training program.

YukoValis

Someone else said it but I'ma say it again, "8 Years Later" is incredibly wrong. It's only 4 years after the New York invasion.

Darchangel

FUCK you missed the second end credits

Connor Ellis

Looking forward to the rest of your marvel journey dose anyone know if alica will do the amazing spiderman movies and other marvel movie or tv shows?

Jordan Drake

If not she should totally react to it.

Porpoise Power

I pray Alicia's seen Tom Holland's Umbrella dance for Zendaya

Porpoise Power

Oh my god we’re almost at Infinity War

Barbaryen Boy

It was my favorite one too

Talon Karrde

Top 3 MCU movie... for me at least. Toomes is actually my favorite MCU Villain... 1. Michael Keaton manages to be the scariest motherfucker in the MCU, without makeup. 2. Toomes is a relatable villain... he's just a dude trying to provide for his family, he's doing really well, for them but he's not getting fuck you rich. 3. Toomes flaw... mirrors Peter Parkers, They're both trying to do things out of their reach. Toomes trying to cleanup after the battle of NY, his men aren't trained for it, he had to spend a lot of money to get equipment and labor he didn't have already, he literally gets told he shouldn't overextend himself. Peter's trying to hard to be an Avenger/fight super villains when he's literally just a kid. A sophomore... not even a junior in HS.

Porpoise Power

Looks like you missed the second credits scene

Zach Strand

I like this film a lot. Tom holland is really good as Spider-Man, and Michael Keaton did good as the vulture, who had an *awesome* suit

Andrew birds

This movie is so good.

Maddie the witch

1:32:29 yeah Kenneth Choi cameo. He was in the first captain america movie and served in caps team. He is playing his grandsons character and you see his grandfathers picture with his medals in his office. Nice call back.

vincent shiflett

It's also a functional touch. Bomber jackets like that were designed to keep pilots warm and protected from winds (the majority of WW2 era bombers and fighters were not airtight seals or pressurized until they got to the late-war bombers), so they had to wear such outfits to keep themselves warm. Thus it makes sense for him to wear such an outfit while wearing the Vulture wings.

Peregry

So I wonder if Alicia is gonna watch The Amazing Spider-Man 1 & 2 in preparation for the 3rd MCU Spider-man, ik she said she already watched the Toby Trilogy.

ItzNack

50:16 dafuq Canada?

Blooocki :3

My favorite thing about this movie has to do with scene where he frees himself from the rubble, as that is a genuine comic panel for Spider-Man's story, it ties it to the comics and still shows the growth that he needs to go through while not leaning on the tried-and-true "Uncle Ben dies" portion.

Seth

I never watched this one, I wasn’t a big fan of Spiderman backpacking off a prev Marvel movie. I prefer them to be stand alones, at least for the heroes first movie! But I heard it was good so I’ll def check it out with you :) thanks for uploading it early! Happy belated vday!

Clumsy

8 years later is wrong btw someone at Sony fucked up on the timeline of the the MCU.

Connor Ellis

You still missed an end credit scene, also spiderman is a lot tougher than you think

Cube Pylum

Nah why the subs saying "IN ITALIAN" in the movie when it's in spasnish bruhhh

Zuku

I know you're surprised at how tough Spiderman is but believe it or not that's part of his powers. See Spiderman has the abilities of a spider increased for his body size. Spiders are actually strong, flexible, acrobatic, and surprisingly tough. We don't see it because we are insanely huge in comparison to them. But if a spider were our size, they would be as hard to kill as Peter is in this movie. That's the point.

Alicia Barkley

I am shocked you think a movie like Doctor Strange was better than this. :p

wiski

It's been so interesting watching these movies fresh through someone else's reactions in order, I remembered this stretch of movies from Winter Soldier onwards as the highlight of the whole MCU, it's refreshing to see that hold up.

Reina

wait if we get this today would that mean we get two mcu movies cuz monday is very soon

Andhy thomas

Respect, Ive been wanting to say it but it so hard without you know.

Gekido

What do you mean?

Charlie

This movie is better than I remembered. It has a nice charm to it. It also don't have the "world level threat" that people began to complain about at that time.

Julio 🤔

Oh man she missed the best post post credits scene in the whole company lmao It had more impact in theatres because you had to sit there and it's just Cap saying "y'know, sometimes things just aren't worth it"

Jacob Arms

Next is...oh...right.

NegativeArms

It's not true to his comics version's relationship with Tony, but even early on he had just as close a relationship with the Fantastic Four, including Reed, as this Peter has with Tony. I feel the MCU writers were probably trying to tackle that relationship as well as they could at a point in time that they didn't have the rights to use the Fantastic Four, using Tony as their substitute.

ShinyC4terpie

Check the entire lenght of the stylised credits and wait until after the credits have rolled. There is a method to the madness

Lightinger

At the end of each video.

Broford

I really do like the twist in this movie a lot because the bi-racial aspect just sort of makes most people never put two and two together earlier on even though the writing makes it obvious that Toomes is Liz's dad.

KYHAHN

im not trying to incline anything but give a fair shot that she should watch all the series.

Yahroh

He hacked the suit. All those things were locked because he wasnt trained for them yet. First thing karen does is congratulate peter on completing the trainingwheels protocol. And karen does question peter on why he is confused by all the new stuff.

Lightinger

wait when does she give her ratings?

Jayden Jones

YukoValis

I know some people didn't like how big of a role Tony had in this film, and his presence does downplay how smart Peter is because Peter could build himself that high-tech suit if he had the time and money for it, but Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr. are so fucking good on screen together that I have to love their performance.

Rx1867

I like this spider man a lot because here the spider man really feel like he is a high school teenager, it feels pretty realistic. The other spider man were also amazing in their own way but when it came to the school and the characters, it was just one stereotype after the other. Here I could relate to him as a student.

Filip

Alicia’s Marvel Ratings Captain America: The Winter Soldier - 9.5/10 Doctor Strange - 9.5/10 Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - 9/10 Captain America: Civil War - 9/10 Iron Man - 8/10 Avengers - 8/10 Captain America: The First Avenger - 8/10 Guardians of the Galaxy - 8/10 Avengers: Age of Ultron - 8/10 Antman - 8/10 Iron Man 2 - 7.5/10 Thor - 7/10 Spiderman: Homecoming - 6.5/10 Thor: The Dark World- 6/10 Iron Man 3 - 5/10 Incredible Hulk - 4/10

Broford

Amazon done fucked up their subtitles somehow Don Townsend's having a similar issue when something happens in another language

Jacob Arms

Okay, Alicia, for future reference, always check after the initial creative credits AND after the black standard credits. This one was cheeky, but still fun, but that's the standard is two at those specific locations, although Guardians 2 did pull a fast one with five sprinkled throughout. Anyways, loved this reaction and this movie as always. Can't wait for more Marvel. I LOVE seeing first time reactions!

CrimsonWarrior55

One thing, I think you missed one last scene past the end credits...

Edward French

I'm honestly don't like how tied to Tony this version of Spider-Man is. It's not true to the comic character. In the comics, he tolerates Tony at BEST. Also don't love a hi-tech Spider suit. It's a fun movie and I enjoy the Spider-man movies but this kind of stuff brings it down in my eyes

Curtis Murphy

I love this edition of Spiderman a lot, Tom Holland really brings that teen vibe to Spiderman that the other two did not. You can really believe him as a kid, unlike the Andrew and especially Toby.

David Bodor

So, Alicia got a Black Widow outfit made. Too bad it accidentally got revealed.

Matthew Williams

Now we all know what movie is next

Jangalang Gaming

1:48:44 Thor’s belt is called the Megingjörð btw

MrDudePerson

I never liked this Peter, he was too much like a puppy looking for scraps from his master. Peter in other media is almost never like that. But Tom Holland looked like he was always about to start crying.

ichigo

Yeah in the grander scope this is such a fantastic introduction. Excited for the next few films, this franchise has a string of bangers in phase 3

PrivateXimmy

Not slick ima be real

PrivateXimmy

Honestly this one’s one of my all time favorites, but I’m glad you still liked it even if ya didn’t love it

PrivateXimmy

Shush

Kaz

if you havent seen Andrew Garfield spiderman movies. You should watch before Seeing the last spider man movie.....for emotional value

Yahroh

My bad. I misunderstood your comment. Anyway, I know how people feel about Marvel movies post-Infinity War, but I still think there are some solid movies afterwards. There are some dubious ones too, of course, but I think the biggest problem is that Marvel fans' expectations have been warped for awhile now. Everyone wants the next movie to be on the same level as Infinity War, either in terms of climactic impact or story-telling, and it's just not realistic, especially with how sprawling the MCU is now.

Richard Sinclair

Yeah, Vulture and Shocker are OG Spidey villains

Miguel Aarón García

Nice Golum impression needs more gargling and precious

Vincent

You missed another end credit!

Zach567

i mean when it comes to how well funded peters school is, its not like its a generic public school. its specifically a science and tech school so it makes sense they focus so hard on funding science and tech stuff

blorbothefrog

i like Garfield's as spider man but i don't like him as peter parker

GIGGA

it's sad because the credit scenes of endgame it's awesome

GIGGA

Ah the irony of Alicia stopping right before the end credits scene... well, that scene was a middle finger to the audience anyway XD. I like how they handled this movie. It assumes we already know spiderman's origin, but it also works as an "origin" for the MCU's spiderman. it works well on its own, but also connects a lot with the extended universe (with Tony being an important role here). I think it was fun and the actors did a really good job carrying this movie.

leviathan_13

It works even if she watches them afterward, to be honest.

leviathan_13

Yeah, they can be insane. All that and more, meanwhile anything theatre related gets the equivalent to a paper clip and a piece of string for their budget.

Calixion Arts

It's not the best Marvel film but it is such a good intro to Tom Holland's Spiderman. The anxiety when Peter realises who Liz's father is and the car ride to the school where Vulture is putting the pieces together is so well done. Looking forward to seeing more Marvel as I think we're getting close to Infinity War/Endgame and I haven't really bothered to see much of the new stuff after those films apart from Deadpool and Wolverine

Pablonius

American here, My school didnt have any shop classes like metalworking/forging (we did have a program with the college down the road) but we had a whole tech building for video production, web development, advertising with graphic art and so on. I did all 4 years in the video production and we basically learned film school techniques, had a whole green screen room and cranes for cameras. Some of my friends have even gone on making short films for Sundance, one got an advert shot for the superbowl. Amazing how well you can get in life with what school your put in, this was a public school btw.

Gekido

I'm Australian but my high school was also crazy, we metal and wood working facilities, a massive professional hall with integrated sound and light systems, plus a smaller one, we had a marine class, film class, weights room, and a farm including livestock. We also had several off-campus classes for facilities the school couldn't have, including a bowling class.

Riku1186

also because so many marvel villains tend to last 1 movie, it's a good way to show that peter isn't the same as most other heroes as a street guy who just wants to do good

bloodyshadow1

yeah some American schools are crazy, we had a small forge for metal working, a gymnasium with 2nd story track loop, workout room with at least 2 dozen machines, wood working shop, and a full 2 story concert hall with a band pit that could fit at least 1k-1.5k

Jacob

I still can't believe that Peter is best friends with the CEO of Sex.

Alexander Saldivar

why is bro responding to himself lmao

WillGlacier

the shocker, not electro

Fei Ashtear

Spider Man vs Batman, the movie.

Most Sane Oreimo Fan

you need to have more patience

Fei Ashtear

missed a cute end credit scene gag

Fei Ashtear

Willfully single atm, and I gotta say you made my day. I've been waiting for you to react to this one for a while and I was so hype when I happened to check patreon during my grave shift.

chase keener

Being single, I ignore Valentines day, but my god is this year a good one. surprise Marvel. A Good way to see how many end scenes to wait on, you can google it before hand and usually avoid spoilers that way.

James T Williams

Man Karen really wanted that instant kill mode, huh? Anyways I enjoyed this one. Have a good day everybody!

Chanfyr

Close enough 😂😂

Nightmareman99

I always like the reactions because they feel fresh and as a graduated film student I appreciate it. You are also pretty damn funny.

Maximor

She won't, when she skipped the credits of The Return of the King, I resigned myself that she doesn't stick around for any credits. As sad as that makes me, I have no right to tell her how to enjoy movies.

Timothy O'Keefe

just finished watching Better Call Saul and totally forgot Michael Mando was in this movie, almost thew me for a loop when he suddenly appeared on the ferry

Nick

Pretty much my exact feelings I had on the movie. Tom Holland is pretty perfect as young Spidey figuring his stuff out. Movie was fun and I like the Vulture as a villain but plot overall was meh.

Bj Howe

His middle name is "Gonzales", not "Fkin", but besides that, yeah, love this little reference! XD

Carus Lumen

I absolutely love how this movie adapts the rest of the MCU into normal life. Students learning about the Sokovia accords in history class. Captain America instructional videos. Also, gotta say. The Vulture is the absolute BIGGEST upgrade in the MCU so far. He went from an old man in a dinky bird suit to... this. They gave this man AURA!

N00B

I'm still not sure you're a rat queen, Alicia, because uploading this early for Valentine's might actually make you a GOAT. I thought you were going to guess the Big Twist after pointing out Vulture's expression, but it's more fun seeing you actually surprised instead of using your genius psychic abilities on these. XD As everyone's saying, you did miss out on the last little scene, which I'm not blaming you for since they tend to be confusing at the best of times. If you want some help with that though, I spent 2 hours looking through a list of those scenes as a response to a Johnathon, so I hope it can help you in experiencing all the secret facets of these movies, whether good & funny or laughably bad! ^^;

ty for the content prayge

TheRealLoRider

My guess would be that they tend to have more time to spare compared to other teachers. As gym classes tend to be more physical, there is less paperwork involved compared to other subjects.

Riku1186

1:16:00 Does anyone else wonder why it's always the school's gym coach that's in charge of detention?

Trevor Appel

I know she skips credits sequences for movies she watched but goddammit she better watch the Endgame one.

The Lazy Gamer

Fun fact Danny Glover’s character is named Arron Davis and he talks about having a nephew in queens. Arron Davis is the uncle of Miles Fkin Morales (the black spiderman)!!!! So their is a good chance of Miles and Peter getting a movie together in the future

Nightmareman99

Cutie reaction!

scatman's world

It's honestly easy to forget that Peter actively as well as subconsciously suppresses his own strength in order to avoid badly hurting those he fights, all because of that good heart.

GrimPitbull

For anyone wondering what was said in that sandwich shop Peter went to in the beginning, and they were speaking Italian, I don’t remember the exact words, but he said something about his aunt being hot, and Peter responded with “ How’s your daughter?”

Ben Gross

this movie makes me cry every time

Ryzsard

Exactly, she gotta comepare her favorite portrayals of the characters

Unsaidrumble

from one of the lonely people thank you for uploading today! I always look forward to movie watch alongs! (I also love spiderman I cant wait for you to get to the second one)

Drakey

Please please please please please please please watch the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movies (and possibly rewatch Tony Maguire's movies as well) before watching No Way Home!!!!!!

1836Texan

fun fact : donald glover wore a spider man costume in the show [community]. the comic book writer brian michael bendis saw this and created miles morales. so donald in this film is like full circle

the_dood_999

you missed another one

Phresh Animations

Just to have it out there Tom Holland has said he plans to retire from acting when he becomes a father, but he's still set to appear in several upcoming movies.

Daniel Hyena

Nice to see this a little early, but it also makes sense. Spider-Man has been owned by Sony for years now, not Marvel.

Connor Clemmons

what a fun surprise

Ronix

I think it is fair. This is the first time I watched this one and even I started skipping a couple 5 second intervals. It feels like there is nothing going on in the middle, and the ending fight is a blurry mess.

YukoValis

Peter actually getting to save Toomes was really refreshing because so many live action Spidey villains had got themselves killed in Toby and Andrews movies.

Jonathan Kennedy

Eeeeh.

YukoValis

Am I dreaming ? Is it Monday already 😭😭

Andhy thomas

I think someone needs to make Alicia a list for when credit scenes happen in each movie, lol. At least this time it wasn't anything significant.

Johnathon

This was when Zendaya was still rising. Before this she was on the Disney Channel. When you asked why Liz was the love interest instead of her, you were thinking of current Zendaya, and not Zendaya back when they were filming this in 2015-2016

Jay Dot

Seeing MIchael Mando in this makes me wonder, has Alicia seen Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul? With how much she hasn't seen I feel like it's up in the air at least

ThatOne Hooman

keep missing them hahahahaha

Thinkace

its saturday here in japan. so this is a welcome surprise

the_dood_999

yup yup but let's not hype it up too much so that she doesn't delay the upload like Kung Fu Panda 2 lol

Cyber

You missed the post credit scene again... smh

Imperial Guard

Lemme skip to the end and check, proceeds to pause before the end credits finish like whatttt

T

Nooo, you missed the post credits scene

GrayMorality

Still like how that a guy called The Vulture, created a criminal empire by collecting tech from the "carrion" left by Avenger battles. Also like how he wears a bomber jacket whenever he suits up that gives him the look of those white fluffy feathers that are around a vulture's neck.

Elias Cristerna

fun fact happy was reading megingjörð witch i think is meg-ging-yord

Lance Ivy

Did you know there was a live action Japanese Spiderman Show from the 60s?

UltramanUltimo

If I had to create a top ten MCU moments I would have that car scene with The Vulture figuring out Peter is Spider Man and the talk in there. Can wait to watch later

Robert Collard

so i dont have any proof dave chapel turned down an offer to be electro but that looks like the guy you hire when dave cahpel turns you down

Lance Ivy

She would also have to make sure to see Logan before Deadpool 2

Elias Cristerna

You missed a post-credits scene again! But it wasn't important. Very very end of the credits xD They really make it difficult lol

Rainet

not sure if you noticed but the principal is a descendant of a member of captain america's soldier group in the first captain america movie and is even played by the same actor. Also a few more comic references: 1) Yes, shocker is a name of a spider-man villain. 2) The criminal called Gargan is actually a spider-man villain known as The Scorpion [this is most likely not a spoiler as the Sony has essentially abandoned their live-action spider-verse films so this is most likely a 99% dead-end plot point. 3) The scene with peter trying to lift all the massive debris off of himself is a reference to one of the most famous spider-man comic panels. If any of this is considered too spoilery please let me know and I will be more careful in the future.

Lucifer Moon

Lmao you missed one of the best post credit scenes ever

Emperor Belos

6.5 feels really low for how much you seemed to enjoy it. But either way getting closer to infinity war. Can't wait.

Jonathan Canfield

I do agree with that.

David Bland

The problem is that they had already sold the scrapping rights to local contractors and didn’t hire or compensate them after they already started the job.

Egregore

I know it's not the MCU, but I really hope we get an "into the Spider-verse" sometime soon. It's the best Spider-Man story on film

Crescent Method

She missed....the most for her end credit scene they could possibly make. Like you can't make this shit up lol.

Okoga

I can't believe she ACTUALLY MISSED THE BEST POST CREDITS SCENE AT THE VERY END OF THE CREDITS

Kamvex

To all of us that are single Happy Singles Awareness Day

AkiyaVT

It's kinda funny how you fast forwarded through the credits to avoid missing any end credit scenes, but you still missed one right at the end because you didn't skip through quite far enough.

Gabe

True enough... 😆 Would be fun to see her reaction to just how powerful he really is.

RedRam-Ipsen

She did

TheDoctor2500

I mean rn she’s in peak marvel rn

Kaea Edwin

All that 10s skipping and she STILL missed an end credit LOL

Blaw

Well that is because Spiderman usually always holds back (against opponents).

Ryuuji Gremory

Oh no the intro reminded me of my crippling loneliness

Bigbleu

We’re not that far we got Ragnarok and Black Panther after this then we’ll be at infinity war

Kaea Edwin

Yeah he played 89 Batman, first time Batman was serious in live action

Kaea Edwin

I don’t think she’ll start in other marvel movie outside the mcu(yes ik it’s technically canon but I don’t think she’ll do that till phase 4-5 once the multiverse has been introduced to her). We got 7films anyways till phase 3 is done anyways

Kaea Edwin

Alicia is seriously underestimating just how insanely powerful and durable Spiderman actually is... 😆

RedRam-Ipsen

so excited for the next spiderman movie :3

PostageBread

Is it me or did she miss an end credit scene?

GamerKing

The fact that she scrubbed through the credits to make sure she didn’t miss a scene and STILL stopped short of the second one is already hilarious, but the fact that it was THAT scene in particular is just perfection.

Trey Nix

fun fact there is a spider-man that can preduce venom

vork88

Being having eight years pass since this came out and having obtained a lot more Spider-Man Knowledge since then, MAN did this movie have some big-time character names sprinkled throughout it that I just never even caught back then. MAN.

Koirby

Finally! we get to spiderman

Gildarts1#fan

I really hope you watch Deadpool soon. Deadpool 1 and 2 aren't technically part of the MCU. Deadpool 3 is part of the MCU so it is on the list. So it would make sense to watch 1 and 2, especially since they are amazing movies in their own right.

YukoValis

To answer your doritos questions I haven't had doritos since I was 9 since that's when my sunflower oil allergy developed and months after almost every savory carb snack company started using sunflower oil 🙃

Adrian

As a forever alone male, I appreciate the content drop.

Jonathan Canfield

Yippee

Taylor

Lmao cooked in the first 5 seconds. She just assumes we have nothing else to do on Valentine's Day. Which is true, so thank you for the content.

Thevenomous

Yep typo

dragon emperor ry

Micheal keaton?

Morris and his code

When I saw this in theaters you could feel the wave of shock at Liz's dad reveal

RaineM27

Missed opportunity to do Deadpool instead since its a Valentines day film.

Gekido

Also Alicia that's Michael Keaton he played Batman in the og films and here he plays Adrian tombs the vulture

dragon emperor ry

You’re the best…such a great gift.

Aaron Taylor

Shout out to all the single ladies watching this 🙏🏽🙂‍↕️🫡

mykanike

Demonsabath67

WE EATING GOOD!!!

TurtleKungFu

Into the Spiderverse first no? 😭

mykanike

THE BEST UPLOAD FOR VALENTINES DAY YAAYYY

i'm a human being

EARLY AS FUCK OMG OMG

mykanike

What I like is when they use the theme it’s like they were welcoming spidey home(they don’t fully own him) but it was a big moment to have back with these marvel heroes

Kaea Edwin

No its not cuz of valentines lol XD

Omer Durrani

Thank you so much for the upload, ive been in the shitters the whole day, this helps a lot.

Omer Durrani

You should watch Spiderman across the spider verse please

Demonsabath67

Yep. She can do Into the Spiderverse any time now, but personally I’d put it right after Endgame.

Hotaru Tomoe

Damn we cooking! Gonna be at Avengers before we know it!

Lee Aguera

Honestly Peter in the MCU feels more like miles morales.

Levi funger

Thank you for giving me something for valentines it made my day alil better

Miguel Luna

2 movies left until infinity war

DankusMemes

Yeaaaa happy v day!

Bboyblock .

Huh? I'm not saying that this movie is slop. I'm saying this is where I start to feel the dread of the slop that is soon to come after the big one coming up. Sorry if it came off different.

Michael

YAYYYYYY. EARLY UPLOAD. Can't wait to watch this when my beer is cold.

Richard Sinclair

Thanks for being so awesome! Seeing this drop makes me just want Into the Spider-Verse. Can't wait!!

L Freya

Come on, man. Let her draw her own conclusions instead of conditioning her with yours.

Richard Sinclair

Hell Yeah

Ryuuji Gremory

I love SPIDER-MAAAAAAAAN

MarakamiSG

oh baby i cant wait to watch in about an hour

Nate D.

personal take: the Government and Stark aren't exactly wrong about taking over the salvage work, they were just wrong about how they handled the take over

largo778 .

So it begins. We draw ever closer to the marvel slop.

Michael

Gonna play devil’s advocate for the beginning scene. I don’t trust the government (especially in ANY Marvel Universe) but I’d rather have them handle alien tech and weapons than just some random assholes.

David Bland

1:15 this is stupid, but I kept making my husband laugh by making the the wisdom dog noises against his belly lmao

Blooocki :3

Let's go it's time for the greatest superhero movies and my hero Spider-Man can't wait for more Spider-Man reactions

dragon emperor ry

BTW Alicia, you should definitely watch the Andrew Garfield Spiderman movies before the next Spiderman movie if you haven't already.

Yolo Samurai

thank you for the content silly elf lady

whalefullspace

Hell yeah

Cube Pylum

Awesome, now just two more to go

Stunnafour20

Oh my God! I'm so excited to watch this when I get home from work <3 you the best

Brandon Duckett

Nico

Timat

NerdyGothKitty

was literally just thinking about how this was going to be posted on my birthday, but a couple days early is even better :D

KuroOberon

Heck, yeah I just got back from seeing the newest mcu film. * She probably knows the name just from being on the Internet, but just being safe.*
