I just watched both vods again, and you're COMPLETELY RIGHT, Camila specifically never said "and you'll never go back to that place" but Luz's memory of the scene was slightly different! I *never* noticed that in the original airing!

I swear things will be different. [...] Promise me, Luz, please!" what Luz remembers is: promise me you will stay with me and you'll never go back to that place [...] Please. Luz seems to have a negative bias towards memories where she remembers things as worse then they actually were, Camilla meant that she doesn't want Luz to run away again, not that Luz can't go somewhere else or have her own life.
