To double down on what I said in the last upload, I really gained a lot of respect for Tashigi in Punk Hazard. I loved the way she shut down the Marines' attempted brainwashing of the kids to hate the pirates that was only going to backfire and lead them to hating the Marines - especially since the Marines were responsible for their kidnapping in the first place. She really learned what "pirates will be pirates" means in this arc: yes, pirates are criminals, but it doesn't necessarily mean they're bad people, and can even be your biggest allies in the right situations. For her this is doubly true for the Straw Hats, who yes need to be brought to justice for their crimes, but on the flip side she has learned she respects them and can work with them if need be.

Its why they were never gonna win that fight

And whatever it is an inborn characteristic of them that they just change to fit whomever they are connected to or if it is just really fashionable to dress them up? Not sure which option I like the most. And I will forever love Law being a Game of Thrones character, playing high political games, who is constantly suffering from the fact that he is only now realizing the consequences of teaming up with Bugs Bunny and gang.

2024-09-18 13:41:15 +0000 UTCI mean, I think Caesars gas is actually better from a business standpoint, because it is multi purpose. Ideally, there won´t be anyone left to break the stone after it is deployed. The only reasons that it is able to be fixed now, is because of a bunch of happenstances (and a facility specifically designed to keep gas out) allowed the Straw Hats and Co to escape from it. So in most cases it would just leave a bunch of statues in it´s wake. After which whomever deployed it can decide whatever or not they want to simply leave them to die, perhaps throwing some more gas on the area so that no one can approach the victims until it is too late, or if they want to disperse the gas and gather the statues for easy capture.

2024-09-18 06:16:13 +0000 UTCYou don't have to take a joke seriously, but the joke is not that far off: Caesar's gas takes a whopping 12h to kill you and apparently, you don't even need to take any sort of antidote or medicine to be saved, you just need someone to break the stone case and free you. It seems to me that death is more of a side effect rather than the intended purpose. Not a very big impression for a supposed weapon of mass murder. On the other hand, Don Krieg's gas is more crude but does the job, just like any IRL lethal gas.
