Finally the first appearance of the bird, the myth, the legend, Takamaru, the most famous fastest hawk from the Sand Village in all of history. Bask in his glory. And yeah you guys called it. Sasori is not only a rogue Sand shinobi, but also the dude who invented most of what Kankuro does. Not from a realistic view, but from the perspective of the "perfect shinobi" everything that Kankuro did after he left the village, except how he tracked them, was wrong. He ignored his mission parameters, challenged the enemy head on instead of a more effective strategy, challenged an enemy that outnumbered him and he suspected outpowered him without back-up, and he didn't bother trying to get information of any kind before he attacked them. As a shinobi he was "supposed" to have followed them, gathering any information he could without being seen, and then reported back their location. So pretty big fail, even though I'd have been laying right where he is if it were my brother.
