2021-03-29 07:11:45 +0000 UTC15: Actually I always thought the implication WAS that Guy didn't recognize him both because he's weird lovable Guy and because it wasn't really Kisame. Sakura is also implementing a version of treatment used throughout history, giving someone in shock or panicking an appropriately powered slap to "refocus" them. Also genjutsu is kind of terrifying TBH...if you can't break it and you're alone...you're dead. Like literally you can't do anything, they can do all kinds of things to you, you're dead.
