2021-03-29 09:58:39 +0000 UTCPiccolo is an adolescent here. That is all I will say on the matter due to DBZ spoilers. Piccolo enters the tournament using the alias "Junior" but in the Japanese it is "Ma Junior", with "Ma" meaning demon.

Back in 1969 Toei studios had a Puss and Boots film and it featured many of it key animators at the time (on being the great Miyazaki of Ghibli) led by one of their animation directors. It was also a film that at the time was a key example for how Japanese animation studios wanted to create their films and shows with animators designated to scenes rather than characters with free rein and support for creative freedom with their animations. The character became something like their version of Mickey Mouse.
