⭐Dragon Ball Z Episodes 44-47: Watch Along & Analysis

I usually just skip my player to moment after the episode title and wait for them to catch up from there. The moment they would look away is a cue for me to get ready. Then I just pause scum if I'm a second off.

I feel like sometimes you forget to say when you get to the intro for the people who aren't watching on Funimation. I personally can't deal with their bad video player, and my personal copy of the show is higher quality than they have on the site. I know I could probably just count how long the Funimation intro takes and then pause for that amount of time, but I'm too lazy. If I can't sync it up easily usually I will just watch the episode on my own and then skip to the next reaction and see if you do it there.

Yeah......the boy's a big deal. I will give Linda Young credit in that her performance in THIS uncut redub is much better than when she started out. Though I can say the same for every actor when they started out in the initial Pre-Uncut dub. Having said that though, Chris Ayres is indeed King (or in this case....Emperor?)

So now I think it can be said... Lord Frieza, far and away my favorite villain in all of Dragonball forward and back. Evil without shame, a sadist with pretensions of sophistication. He's a sick-headed nightmare made solid and real... You don't want his full attention... Even HALF can get you killed... Frieza is why nearly everyone wanted the Kai dub in the first place. The actress playing him in OG DBZ is Linda Young, who also played Baba, and it's largely believed to have been a miscast. Frieza is more bluntly written and acted, and honestly rather stilted compared to the more accurate Kai script, and the AMAZING actor Chris Ayres. Kai's Frieza oozes a chilling, high pitched, transatlantic male voice and his dialog is at once exceedingly polite and intelligent. This, despite the awful things he does and the weight of his threats. As a writer for a DBZ/RWBY crossover that features Frieza as the principal antagonist, I'm told I capture him rather well... and one line I wrote for him sums him up rather nicely, I think: "I am Lord Frieza, Emperor of All. The single most potent being this side of Creation, and sole heir to all I survey therein. From the first sweltering breath of the sun's birth at the start of the cosmos to the bitter, crushing supernova blasting at its end, my reign is absolute! If not a god by birth, I shall be by right of birth! What I am… is dominance. And bitter fear."
