Like yall said, it’s just there’s no other interesting characters really yet. That’s where I’d give csm and jjk the edge for a season 1. But I trust it’ll get a lot better, especially when these s rank hunters get involved more.

Essentially during this time, Portuguese had a monopoly on trade in the far east, so the Japanese were under the impression that there was only one European power. Enter the English, Protestants at war with Catholics, which completely changes the game. This, around the time of major political upheaval in Japan. Strongly recommend you keep watching, the pieces fall together pretty quickly and there are so many epic scenes, would be a shame to miss.

All in all… the animation exceeded my expectations and I’ve loved how they’ve adapted the manwha. I find that the sequencing of the scenes is a lot better than the actual manwha. The music is also hitting different. I just can’t wait for S2… next arc gonna go crazy… 😭

2024-04-01 17:22:29 +0000 UTCHonestly this anime adaption actually exceeded my expectation and the animation goes crazy at some points like the igris fight was genuinely insane and the snake fight in like episode 3 or 4 or whatever was actually hype af while in the manhwa it was just whatever so eventough I gotta give credit to the anime I still feel like even up to this point the manhwa felt "better" to read than watching these 12 episodes its just so easily digestible and its just pure power fantasy that doesn't feel like it drags or anything, it also got nothing deep just pure hype and fun shit and it's probably the most bingable read right after the OPM manga and yeah its just pure entertainment. Anyways I would still give the manhwa a 9/10 because it is just so bingeable, the pacing, the art its just idk you wanna absorb it for some reason while the anime felt a little less well paced but the impactful moments with music+ voice acting + animation are better in return so yeah for me the anime would probably get a 8/10 or 8.5/10 so far and I think it will probably end on a 9/10 however there is still so much to cover that's easily 3 or maybe 4 more seasons so yeah lets wait until season 2 for now.

Im assuming one punch man will replace HxH, but other than that and like a random movie they feel like watching, they next new show we’ll probably get is gonna be new demon slayer season in may. But this is just what I think they should do, beings that they still gotta watch like 7 shows. This allows them to focus on finishing fmab, and grinding through GOT and naruto, as the other shows are weekly releases anyway i think.

It's essentially GOT but set in 1600s Japan, it's an extremely high-level show with 6 episodes out right now, maybe look at "Shogun Final Trailer" on youtube to get a sense of the quality it'll bring to the table. Most if not all fans of your channel would love it, I'd think.

2024-04-01 06:22:09 +0000 UTCi do agree this season was about a 8.5 to 9 considering what we got in 12 episodes. it really does feel like a setup season for whats to come later based on how everyone speaks about the Mahnwa some of the takes i didnt really agree with like Briggs eye merchant take. its funny cause my cousin said the same thing but i dont really see it because like he only killed 3 enemies by stabbing it in the eye. the big ass spider i mean just had a hard skin that he couldnt penetrate. then there was Cerberus and its not like that was intentional he was hanging out the dogs mouth and that was the only spot available lol, and for igris his mask was literally the only opening he had in his armor and even then he didnt even kill igris like that. then McKays Repetitive take. i mean i kinda dont know how it couldve been done any better considering thats the whole premise of the world is completing dungeons and so far ALL of the dungeons were different, id agree if they all had the same layout and bosses etc. i personally just dont see any of the repetitiveness in this show. i doubt we will see him lose and if we do it will be very rare. thats kinda how it goes with animes like these. i think once you get into the genre where the MC progressively becomes OP, you will get more accustom to that.

The point about it being kind of dark he's not focusing on his mom as much reminded me going back to the castle hasn't been mentioned again either. Definitely seems like a prologue type of season where he's now got his real class and all the rest of the story elements will be explored more

Expected to be released this year, but it could likely be delayed and come out in the winter. iirc the 1st cour was supposed to come out earlier but got delayed. The following info are just leaks so take it with a grain of salt. Cour 1 was set to be low priority (which is crazy to think about) and Cour 2 will be done with some of their best animators and a lot more freelancers. They also plan on making 3 seasons with 24–26 episodes for each season, with each season being split into 2 cours, like our current season is right now, so we would get a total of 6 cours with 12–13 episodes each. Not a particularly deep or complex show, but overall it's a fun and enjoyable watch, and I look forward to what's to come. I think you need shows like this every now and then to balance out the more "serious" and "realistic" ones.
