Patreon 1 Year Anniversary!

I have almost reached the 1 year mark for this Patreon page. I actually started it way back a few years ago, but it was just to test it out and try putting Sissy School on here to gauge interest.

After my Tumblr got deleted in May of 2021, I was in the depths. I spent all of June feeling worthless and like my life's work was wasted. In July, I decided I needed something to get my frustrations out, and to keep my creative juices flowing.

In August of 2021, I officially launched my full Patreon, and since then, I have produced over 4/stories a month, and garnered over 100 amazing followers. I am so incredibly thankful for all of your support along this journey. It has been rocky at times, but it has also been an absolute blast to put my stuff out there, and have it be pretty well received overall. You guys have given me amazing feedback and ideas that have helped me to grow as a writer, and I am forever thankful for that.

With all that said though, we need to talk about this page going forward: I am simply not going to be able to produce a story every week any more. It has become extremely demanding to come up with ideas, write those ideas, expand those ideas, edit those ideas, build a cover for those ideas, etc. All while working a full-time job. Producing 52 stories a year is just not realistic anymore. I hope you can understand how many hours I have put into all of this. I really do try to bring you guys top quality content to the best of my ability. But it has gotten to the point where I am having to sacrifice my sanity and time with my family to keep this page going.  It breaks my heart that I am unable to go play with my kids because I have to make sure I get stories ready for the next week.

But it's a double-edged sword, because as stressful as this site has been to maintain, the extra income helps take that much stress off of paying the bills. To be completely transparent, my wife is in search of a job, but things are pretty barren, so we've been doing all sorts of side-hustles to keep the lights on. I don't say any of this out of pity. Only to say that the real-world stuff has been making it difficult for me to continue doing the fantasy stuff the same way I have been.  So I hope you can understand where I'm coming from. 

So what will the future look like? Well, I don't want to get rid of this page. I've put so much into it for it to go to waste. A hiatus would be nice, but I feel like it's unfair to those that have stuck by me for so long. So I think the best compromise is to still bring you stories every month. Just not as frequently as in the past. Ideally, I would produce at least 2 stories, and see how it goes from there. If I'm able to catch back up, maybe I'll be able to do more again, but right now it is just causing me way too much stress.  

I also want to open up lines of communication with you: Patreon doesn't let me drop prices of tiers. So is there anything else I can do/add to my page to make your membership worth it? Are there any things you would like to see me do other than just stories? Because of guidelines set forth by both Patreon and my wife, I wouldn't be able to post pictures of myself. But if there is something I can do that is less labor intensive than writing 5,000 words every week I'd be open to the idea. Would you be okay with shorter stories? Ramblings from my silly mind? Or something else? Feel free to comment below.

I wanted to get this all out there before your August subscriptions hit so you can make an informed decision. As mentioned before, I will try to keep churning out at least 2 stories/month, 1 of which you can vote on like you did last week. In an ideal world, I could just do this as my full-time job and bring you all the stories nestled in my brain, but that's just not in the cards right now.

Again, I want to thank each and every one of you for your continued support over this past year. I still have some gas in the tank if you're willing to stick around, but I understand if you want to move on to greener pastures. If nothing else, I hope my writing has helped you realize you're not alone in your fetishes. I hope there is something you were able to connect with that made you feel like you weren't the only one out there with desires to wear diapers, and maybe be treated like a girl too. We are all different, but sometimes we find people that are similar types of 'different'. I'm so glad we found each other, and we are able to celebrate our differences. Together.
