Chapter 1,341.

The Peregrine Ocean’s herbal scent permeated the dense mist, surpassing yesterday’s visit to the docks. The fog wasn’t harmful, though an unusual sense of déjà vu hit Zac as he descended the mountain. Zac only needed to leave the First District to confirm the source of the immense amounts of Imperial Faith wasn’t an influx from the land or the countless memory lanterns.

A shocking number of cultivators filled the streets. The Transformation Docks had only been bustling as far as cultivation societies went. With people spending months to years in seclusion between their outings, the number of people you’d run into was generally significantly lower than in mortal cities. Today, Zac could barely take a step without bumping into someone, and the crowd was almost exclusively low-grade cultivators.

‘Could all these people have come from the suburbs?’ Zac asked without much confidence in his voice. He doubted E-grade cultivators could afford even the smallest residences in a place like the Transformation Docks.

‘There’s quite a few with imperfect spirituality in the crowd—what you’d see in the Lower Planes. They should be permanent residents of Inner Worlds and brought out to generate Faith,’ Esmeralda said. ‘The walk is probably part of it to elicit a sense of pilgrimage.’

Zac could see what Esmeralda meant. The bubbling excitement was plain as day. For some, this would be the first time many of these citizens had ever left the confines of their small worlds. An Early Monarch couldn’t comfortably fit more than a few hundred people, while a Peak Monarch could sustain at least a large city. Those living inside B-grade cultivators had it better.

Autarchs could carry around whole countries, and their domains were directly connected to the Heavens. Their Inner Worlds would still heavily gravitate toward whatever path the Autarch practiced, but the inhabitants wouldn’t suffer from missing foundations like Esmeralda mentioned. With so many high-grade cultivators participating, there was an incalculable number of citizens released into the open.

The massive crowd confirmed the ceremony wasn’t as simple as a ribbon-cutting event. Zac stayed to the side to witness the sea of people snaking toward the central square. It wasn’t enough to make his decision to participate waver. He was waiting until the last minute before donning his presence-masking hood. Further obscured by Esmeralda’s spatial domain, Zac joined the crowd.

The plan to blend into the crowd failed the moment Zac stepped foot onto the square. The seal on his hand lit up on its own, and an array teleported Zac to one of the floating plateaus right at the front. The sealbearers from the docks were already present and seated, and Zac recognized dozens of participants he’d encountered during the challenges.

For instance, Xiphos was seated at the front. He was in the middle of a conversation with his neighbor and only shot Zac a quick glance when he appeared. There was no sign of Kaltosa Lu or his butler. Zac had expected as much, seeing as the Mercurial Court’s pillar still only had two halos.

Zac took great comfort in knowing he’d delayed the elemental enough to force him to choose between finishing his thread of fate and participating in the opening ceremony. He didn’t hold much hope it was sufficient to make Kaltosa Lu succumb to the Peregrine Ocean, but missing out should delay his arrival and lead to a worse outcome.

Jumping down from the platform would have made Zac stick out, so he calmly walked toward the empty seats at the back of the platform. Zac only had time to take a few steps before he felt another set of eyes on him. Zac traced the sensation, and the surprise almost made him lose his composure.

Picking a seat seemingly at random, Zac found himself in the last row next to a man with a vacant expression. It was Janos, dressed as a scholar while cradling a metal sphere in his lap. The tool had gone through a series of changes since Zac saw it last. Most notably, it was slowly absorbing the Imperial Faith of the surroundings. It had even taken on some of the Peregrine Ocean’s aura.

Zac hadn’t noticed the illusionist’s presence at all during his first sweep. It didn’t necessarily mean that Janos’ abilities had grown stronger, though his aura had undeniably grown more robust. Illusions worked better on unprepared targets, and Zac certainly hadn’t expected to run into his subordinate here.

He hadn’t forgotten that Janos was a Realmsinger of the Mercurial Court, but he’d somewhat suspected Janos would stop midway. The zones had become more dangerous the closer they moved to the continent’s edges, and there were still plenty of opportunities in the safer regions. Not only had the demon proven him wrong, but Janos had even kept a pace matching Zac’s human half.

Even so, Zac could sense something was wrong with the demon’s gaze. It was like Janos struggled to place who Zac was. The illusionist’s line between reality and illusion had blurred after being trapped in the Ensolus Ruins, and his time on the Left Imperial Expanse might have worsened his condition.

‘Are you okay?’ Zac asked when he saw the spark of recognition on his subordinate’s face.

‘I keep falling asleep, but the dream will eventually end,’ Janos slowly answered, his gaze shifting from Zac to the Mercurial Court’s pillar. ‘It’s almost time.’

Zac didn’t get the chance to ask what Janos meant. He’d waited as long as possible, and it was about time for the ceremony to begin. A swirl of golden flames sprouted in the empty space where a stage should have stood. It commanded Zac’s full attention, and sitting at the back of the platform didn’t mar the experience. The flame bent perception and space to give everyone a perfect, unobstructed view.

Silence descended. A million eyes watched as the flame exploded into a gargantuan pathway that reached the memory domain’s ceiling. On the other side was a starry sky different from what Zac had seen over the past month. It was full of color, and it wasn’t empty. There were countless vessels and fortresses blotting the sky, all of them emitting a vast, heroic aura.

The winds of war poured through the gate and fused with the ambient Faith. The Transformation Docks had gone from being a holy site into a city in the midst of a holy crusade. The more energy poured through, the better Zac could grasp the immensity and scale of the army stationed on the other side. The Centurion Base couldn’t hold a candle to some of the structures.

Was this the defensive perimeter guarding the continent’s outer border? It would explain why there’d been no sign of the familiar fortress standing at its center.

The Left Imperial Palace didn’t quite look identical to the battle-worn remnant of Zac’s vision. Its unblemished, towering walls looked like they could suppress the Earth. They represented an absolute divide, to the point that spying on the interiors proved impossible. Another addition was the nine majestic flames burning on its bastions, one for each Outer Court.

The greatest difference from Zac’s vision was the gargantuan structure raised in the fortress’s center, surpassing even the palace’s restrictions. It was so large Zac’s mind couldn’t properly take it in. Unimaginable spatial compression had been used to place it atop the entrance of the Ultom Courts. It only reached twice the height of the walls before disappearing into a gate similar to the window on the central square, but it was clearly the base of a massive tower.

The Ultom Courts might have been hidden inside the Fifth Pillar’s base, but its Heaven-transcending aura was still on open display. Except, it had been made part of the Limitless Empire’s glory, pushing it to transcendent heights. Zac was already overwhelmed by the scene, and he was given no time to rest.

The gates on the Left Imperial Palace opened to let out an enormous war chariot covered in runes burning with blinding Imperial Faith. Its aura was so overwhelming that it overshadowed the six dragons pulling it, and they were nothing like the little mixed-blood whelpling Zac fought inside the Tower of Eternity.

These dragons should be genuine Primordial Beasts with bloodlines pure enough to overwhelm most Autarchs at the same stage, yet they pulled the chariot toward the Transformation Docks without any sign of complaint. If anything, they conveyed pride at being chosen.

Reality bent as the chariot soared through the foreign sky. The familiar tiles of the Imperial Road appeared beneath its wheels, and the brutal defensive perimeter was replaced by a constant flicker of different worlds.

The chariot passed through battlefields where valiant soldiers suppressed the onslaught of the Empire’s enemies. Lofty mountains with unyielding composure were followed by sprawling cities burning with the flame of civilization. The chariot brought about winds of change. Its journey was a pilgrimage much like the one outside.

‘Such pageantry,’ Esmeralda scoffed, unable to hide the awe in her voice.

Zac was no better. He could barely think under the influence of the Limitless Empire’s boundless might. He had to resist getting swept away, and the struggle intensified the closer the chariot drew. The deeply ingrained memories of his three identities all resonated with the ceremony, blurring the critical lines between present and past.

The other elites on the platform faced no such issue. They welcomed the blessing, becoming beacons of devout worship from having their Faith affirmed through might. There was no need to mention the massive crowd gathered below. The square was alight by the flames of fanaticism, and Zac felt like the Imperial Faith was on the precipice of evolving to something greater.

The square had become the eye of a storm of providence. It was impossible to say if the chariot crossed countless miles in minutes or if its flight to the gate was just a short skip. The dragons stopped outside while the chariot passed through, and only glimpses of their murderous auras peeked through.

Though a chariot entered the gate, it was a large altar that appeared above the transformation docks. It looked similar to the Fifth Pillar’s base. In front of the altar was a stage large enough to seat a few dozen people, and it was already filled. The gate closed, but it was impossible to erase the mark left by the scene on the other side. Zac snuck a glance at Janos to see if he needed assistance, surprised to find him alert and more present than ever.

The illusionist’s gaze was trained on the bewildering old man resting at the seat of honor. It wasn’t the old man’s actions that caused Zac’s confusion. He was sitting there, possibly looking out at the crowd. Zac couldn’t tell for certain since his mind failed to capture a specific face or expression. He may as well have been a million people trapped inside one body, each fighting for supremacy.

The phenomenon looked somewhat similar to the Stellar Wanderers. Those primordial beings were too powerful to be contained by a single dimension, so their presence spread through all layers of reality. Having witnessed the real thing, Zac could tell the old man wasn’t the same. It was like he lacked an anchor to tether him to a specific state, blurring the barrier between real and fake. He was also extremely powerful.

‘A Supremacy’s imprint!’ Esmeralda whispered as she shrunk deeper into the shrine’s pond.

Zac had already averted his gaze. He had a good idea who the unusual-looking human was without Esmeralda’s prompt. It should be Great Dream, the mysterious leader of the Mercurial Court. Beyond the Daoist Name, Zac hadn’t discovered anything over the past months. This old man was much more of a recluse than the Margrave presiding over the Hollow Court.

That’s why Zac was surprised to see him appear, even if he’d only sent an avatar. With his presence, it was no wonder the young princes from the Theomore Dynasty had been relegated to the side. A mere Hegemon being seated next to a Supremacy was still an enormous honor and a testament to the influence of the nine Imperial Bloodlines.

It was also evident that Astora Theomore’s status was extraordinary within her clan. The hunched-over old lady standing to Astora’s left possessed an aura that only fell a few steps short of Great Dream. She could only be a Theomore Elder responsible for protecting the princess during her visit to the Mercurial Court.

‘Another Supremacy?’ Zac cautiously asked.

‘Close enough. A peak Autarch possessing a large amount of inherited Authority.’

It wasn’t the first time Esmeralda had mentioned Autarchs with Authority, but Zac wasn’t in a frame of mind to ask for clarification. He could feel his bloodline stirring from an unseen force coming from the princess. He kept his Void Emperor Bloodline in check while carefully observing Astora for any signs she’d sensed the same thing. It didn’t look like it.

Most of Astora Theomore’s features were covered by a fluttering veil, and her eyes were closed in meditation. She possessed an air of diligence, like she loathed missing a single second of cultivation. Her dedicated demeanor and unadorned cultivator robes imbued the earth-shattering beauty with a sense of kinship. However, it couldn’t hide the immense blessing of affinity the Heavens had bestowed upon her.

If Iz Tayn was an avatar of fire, then Astora Theomore was an apostle of Nature. Zac wouldn’t have been surprised if birds chose to perch on her shoulders or if Nature Spirits peeked out of her brown locks. The circumstances made it impossible to discern what kind of path or bloodline abilities she possessed, and Zac didn't dare look too long.

The others on the platform were a mix of powerful dignitaries with a close connection to the Empire, including Xiphos’ Dao Guardian. Zac also spotted an unfamiliar Judge of the Imperial Magistrate and quickly looked away. He moved onto the person at the edge of the stage, only to receive an even greater shock.

It took Zac a moment to realize he wasn’t actually looking at Leyara Lioress. They shared enough features to be mistaken for sisters, but the woman before him possessed a completely different quality. While the nun’s aura was hidden, she exuded the air of someone who’d lived through countless seasons and seen the rise and fall of dynasties. That wasn’t something a Hegemon could emulate even if they tried.

While different, the woman was clearly a member of the Vigil, the mysterious parent organization to Zecia’s Void Gate. The fake Leyara wore an almost identical dress to the nun who’d appeared by the Everfast Monarch’s side. Like most on the stage, the nun inspected the platform of sealbearers.

Did she just stop upon spotting him?

Zac suddenly prayed it was Leyara, and not only because he’d like to thank her for her assistance with Terea’s lantern. If this nun wasn’t his old friend, the pause might have meant she noticed something else. The nun by the Everfast Monarch’s side had effortlessly seen through his secrets, referring to him as a ‘Young Void Emperor.’ The Vigil had also proven their stated stance of neutrality was one of convenience.

“Today is a day of celebration,” a resounding voice spread through the square. The chaotic stir of energy immediately calmed.

“We celebrate the completion of the Imperial Road, which will help bring our citizens closer. We celebrate the sacrifice of generations of heroes who worked tirelessly to advance the Empire’s holy mission. Today, the Mercurial Court is opening the Gate of Transformation. Those chosen by Destiny shall be given an opportunity to see through the illusion and seize an opportunity from the shores of enlightenment.”

Grand Dream’s face remained an everchanging blur, but there was no doubt the words came from him. Every syllable was imbued with so much meaning they may as well have been an edict of the Heavens, and they infiltrated every corner of the city. Any one of their countless truths was enough to keep a Hegemon occupied for years, and they weren’t limited to the major Daos of the Mercurial Court.

Zac had no choice but to let the sea of perfected Dao wash over him, for once thankful for his lack of affinity. It meant he was left out of the induced enlightenment taking place across the square as people unconsciously absorbed the concoction of Faith, War, and transformative power.

That was for the best. Zac knew his Void Road wasn’t powerful enough to filter out the Dao without being influenced. Janos still didn’t need his assistance. His treasure was happily gobbling up the energies meant for him.

“However, today’s glory is not their own,” Grand Dream continued. “The Era is turning, and the Empire is the fulcrum of destiny. This glory cannot be carried by the few. A rising tide lifts all boats, and the flame has never burned brighter. Do not grow complacent under its comforting light, and do not forget the price paid to keep it burning. Use the flames to ignite your passion and transcend your limits. A new dawn is approaching.

A ruminating silence lingered until the old Theomore Dao Guardian coughed and stepped forward.

“There should be no lingering uncertainty before we begin. The trajectories need to be confirmed for history to proceed. As such, we invite candidates to challenge Destiny.”

‘Challenges?’ Zac mused with vague recollection.

‘Uh, remember what that old templar on the podium said when we met? Don’t tell me—’ Esmeralda didn’t have time to finish her sentence before the aura of a Late Hegemon erupted.

While powerful in its own right, it felt laughable after having just witnessed the true majesty of the Left Imperial Palace. The challenger’s words further clashed against the solemn atmosphere. Zac had no time to worry about that.

“Everit Draom! I refuse to believe you seized your slot through upright means. If the Lords are amenable, I shall test your qualifications myself.”

The challenge broke the spell of silence that had held the whole city in its grasp. Excited clamors filled the square, adding some levity to the day. Some were asking about details about Everit Draom and the challenger, wondering if there was a sordid history behind the harsh words. Others were straightforwardly taking bets on the outcome.

‘I guess it’s our fault for deluding ourselves you could stay low-key,’ Esmeralda sighed with resignation.

Comments

I hope not I feel like he's already got too many clocks to worry about.

Sean C Jackson

Idk, I see that being more of the role of his crafting skill. Refining his core should be easy with his magic techniques, plus probably spending a few thousand years as a hedgemon - if Ultom 'only' perfects his core then it'll likely get damaged when he's doing other stuff. I think the technocrat base is going to be when he fully shakes the chains of fate off his back and starts on his own path. Odds are he'll get some sort of positive/negative boon like the shards and it'll put him on a yet more aggressive clock

Lucas Gulick

Nah think the final trial reward/ending will push him to peak and clear what flaws there are in his core, wouldn’t make any sense to have ultom otherwise… besides clarifying his role in certain things and uncovering some basic truths he’s missing… think ending will give him a new direction for himself, he’s still been running around on others chess boards…

Kirin

Lol who chaos’s grandpa? What is lowkey? 😂😂😂😂😂

Kirin

There is so VERY much going on in this chapter. Started to write a longer post, just gonna say—I love it!

Jeff McCulley

Pretty sure that Esmerelda isn’t nearly that old.

Jeff McCulley

When I gamed, the DM would occasionally toss I. “Shit Happens” rolls. Zac’s existence is a series of Shit Happens rolls, most of which are criticals.

Jeff McCulley

If I’m reading it right, “Peak D Grade” has twenty-five levels as well. Then Inner World. Has it actually said? Because it just seems to go blank after listing the levels of Hegemony up to Peak.

Jeff McCulley

I figure Ultom will give him a lot of what he needs for the core upgrade design, he probably won't be able to pull off the actual upgrade till he's fighting the technocrats though

Lucas Gulick

Peak D Grade is 225, he just has to level up and then do the most complicated core upgrade yet; setting the stage for his inner world.

Yuh292

No wonder Ogras and Emily like to be around Zac so much... that dude is such a trouble magnet 😂

Shurjin

Well, yeah. The reason to challenge “Everit” is that everyone saw how rich he was at the bazaar.

Jeff McCulley

I think that’s “progressed”. ;)

Jeff McCulley

Just in case you didn’t go look back.., Janos’ wife, Um’Ha, is a botanist. She works with farmers. Astora Theomore has a strong Nature affinity. Not only does she likely know the Earth Son—or at least the Earth Templars—he Dao likely fits even better with Zac’s than Mei’er’s. Adventure with Janos? More like double date!

Jeff McCulley

Interesting theory. That said, I think Grand Dream has Janos’ full attention because he’s the person most likely to know how to get his wife out.

Jeff McCulley

Well, it seems that way…but remember, he’s barely gained any levels since he got here. So he has to go most of the way through Late Hegemony, then all the way through Peak. So, most of fifty levels? He just happens to be pretty ready for when he gets there. Though…he probably wants to use one of those core fixing treasure before long.

Jeff McCulley

Remember that the Earth Son knew exactly who Zac was all along. He told him something like, “All you lack is faith”. I’m starting to think that “Imperial Faith” is something entirely different than what we’ve been assuming. Rather than faith in the Emperor, maybe it’s faith that the Empire will protect its citizens? Because that’s what they keep saying. And, after all, that’s what Zac is all about. Protecting the people of his Empire. And I think maybe that’s what the final Autarch in the Test of Faith actually saw.

Jeff McCulley

I just discovered that Groucho Marx glasses are still a thing. That’s Zac’s disguise, in a nutshell.

Jeff McCulley

I think his innerworld would be when he goes to the undead empire and the technocrats base… those are the arcs after Ultom, there might be be a little break before he leaves where he just dominates what’s left of Zecia. Also, there’s the upcoming civil war in the empire, and the treasure Zac gets from the Hollow court would change things.

M💬

There were more time skips also Zac went through a lot of e grade quickly then got stuck at peak for awhile because of his core and then had to go back and learn techniques. I feel like E grade took so long because he kept having to go and learn new things. I suspect forming an inner world on the frontier will be similar

support!

There were more time skips in D grade than E grade I think.

Kyle Hunter

*cough cough crazy right?

John

Really excited to see a Zac / Janos mini arc, I'm not sure when those two last adventured with just each other. It might have been all the way back in F grade, or maybe early E. Also, anyone else noticed that Zac is blowing through the hedgemon progression infinitely faster than E grade? Feels like we might be less than a year away from him hitting C grade

Lucas Gulick

lol, time for Zac to do what he does best. Kick ass and cause chaos! TFTC

Tom C

I'd guess the Omni Lord we heard from Tavza. His castle is from the Era of Order and even a Throne failed to enter it.

Hartmann

I recall Xiphos used the words « specter using human skin ». So maybe they see he isn’t really the identity he’s pretending to be, but they can’t see much else. Well, Xiphos is d-grade. Perhaps those at higher grade have better insight.

Lizy Flore

The trial sort of disguises him, and then the supremacied are in on it, so he shouldn't get serious blowback even if he abandoned any oretense of being that guy.

DagNabItAll

Wonder what he was called before Laondio erased him from destiny? He became The Void Emperor after nothing else sticked.

TKO

Just to be clear—when they “see through” his persona, what do they see? Do they know they’re figments of a dream?

Stephen Taylor

Everyone is like “I’m special the Mercury Court honored me with a glimps of their might! My fate with the court is writ in stone!” One of the supremacies on stage bows to Zac “Void Emperor.”

Alexander Dupree

Next arc the fights will start on sight!

Dalton Service

It sort of is. He’s forcing Fate with this court and the hand he was dealt was an asshole with a bunch of enemies. Totally makes sense that he’s being challenged.

DrSubterfuge

No way in hell this doesn’t escalate. This whole chapter was just laying out a whole stage of folks who most certainly will take an interest in Zac. The way the Theomore ancestor introduced the challenges to Destiny also sounded suspicious. This shit might be rigged

John

Eff yes

Porter

I can smell a big cliffhanger Friday

Palmer Evans

Hope next chapter is in challengers POV

Hampus K

Thanks for the chapter.

Joshua Little

His persona isn't undead and people seem to be treating it as him using some kind of disguise. I imagine if it was a problem it would have already come up.

DrSubterfuge

Are the undead accepted in LE? Will this be a problem?

Timothy Dana

He's there as Arcaz and his persona uses Death, so that isn't a concern. Using Conflict instead of Order might tip off someone, but yeah there are people like the templar here to help administer this, and the Supremacies definitely know what's going on. If someone does challenge him on it, he's well practiced in giving people non-answers that they just have to accept.

DrSubterfuge

The supremacies are in on it. They set this up in the first place. They don’t really give a fuck keeping everything believable forever, just long enough to target hostile supremacies (see Emily’s chapters) and to pull off their time fuckery Some of their agents know what’s up as well (recall the D grade inquisitor POV we got a few chapters ago). Historically, the empire was eradicated by heavenly punishment. Compared to overturning that, who gives a shit about what some C grade underlings believe about a subordinate that the C grade will never see again regardless?

Craig

lol this will be fun. Also who wants to be the item Esmeralda is looking for is herself trapped here or hiding and she was caught in the spell that dragged the left imperial palace out of time. The curse she is fighting off is actually just being split from herself with that part of her bound here. Freeing herself might need both parts. I’m not sure that’s really what’s happening but it’s going through my head.

Alexander Dupree

Can someone remind me how Zac is supposed pass as being Everit under such scrutiny? It’d be suss if he doesn’t use the Dao of Order during his fight, right? Let alone Zac using his Life or Death Daos

Palmer Evans

I wonder if Grand Dream is the same guy Janos saved. He certainly caught Janos' attention. Would be kind of crazy if Janos was responsible for saving a guy who became a Supremacy. He might even get his wish.

DrSubterfuge

I agree the duel will be to the death. My point is that the challenger has something of significant value to win beyond his life should he win and the one challenged should also win something of value beyond keeping what they've already earned.

Andrew P

Zac's "idea" of a secret identity is basically a super cheap fake mustache and large explosions that somehow explode to look like his face...

MacMahon Wenzl

Thank you!

Andrew

I think he’s earning a lot more than that!

Jeff McCulley

I don’t think he survives should he lose. Imperials don’t mess around. It means he’s not fated.

Jeff McCulley

10 seconds into the event -> 1) Spots the GOAT Janos -> 2) Gets spotted by someone from the Vigil -> 3) Gets into a fight... Good to see we regressed from the Tower of Eternity, it took at least 3 days there before he was getting into fights.

MacMahon Wenzl

Sorting the Court Pillars Order Put this together. I think it’s mostly right. After Zac told us his initial impressions of the locations of the first five Pillars, Yselio added positioning from the Starfall Court. Then Zac just added the general location of the Farsee Court. Making certain assumptions, I think I’ve got it now. Going clockwise, from the Mercurial Court—since that’s where we’re at: Mercurial > Anima > Farsee > Starfall > Hollow > Indomitable > Radiant > Daedalian > Tethered Court. The latter two may be reversed. Reasonably sure on the rest. If you want the long version, let me know. Yes, I did sketch out an equidistant nine pointed circle. Not as easy as you might think!

Jeff McCulley

I wonder if the challenger will need to put up a reward should he lose

Andrew P

Time to earn his boat ticket.

Omiso

It’s Imperials. I’m not sure there will be any limitations. Aside from protecting spectators. And if the Supremacy looks closely to put on blocks…he’s going to find more there than he expects. Guessing “Holy Son” will even pop up. Given that Xiphos’ guardian is up on the stage, I’m guessing everyone up there already has an idea who Zac really is. This challenger might even get a big “Nope!”.

Jeff McCulley

Even before those last couple of paragraphs, I was counting all the ways that Zac’s “secret identity” was screwed. I was on my second hand. And it’s not just Leyara/not Leyara. Not hardly. I figured he’d have a run in with Astora Theomore. I guess that’ll be even more than I thought. Zero chance that she has no connection with the Earth Son or that Templar Order.

Jeff McCulley

Haha yes! Zac getting called out like this during the opening ceremony is perfect

Palmer Evans

Bro what a chapter. This truly shows the might of the limitless empire and why they were literally an unmatched force. Very good indeed. And I was wondering if we'd see Janos; glad hes here for the main event. Welp, seems leyara is a constant in many time periods and it may have even been destiny that saw her born into zecia, she herself even meant to hold that flame of hope. Quite interesting with the princess being so beautiful shes an apostle of nature itself; truly her beauty must be divine. And obviously you'd draw attention zac, ignoring the asshole of an identity you picked, you yourself are a magnet for trouble. But, at least he'll get to flex his muscles with this fool. He's likely strong but not at the level of zac. The only issues is what limitations zac will have. Certainly his connection won't be cut off drastically weakening him. But what about the daos. It's known his Id has a death order mixed dao so I'm curious how zac clashing as himself will be seen by these guys.

Lex Luther S
