Closing Platinum Tier!

Most of you already know this via Discord but I think it's only fair to write this up here as well!

I'm going to be closing Platinum Tier come October. There are a lot of reasons for this, namely feeling burnt out and overwhelmed, as well as undercharging for the amount of work. This is still a difficult choice to make as I love drawing your characters and the sense of community it has created. I'd love to see platinum members remain part of this little family we've created and I have an incentive to encourage that!

Instead of my usual $50 platinum tier, I will now be offering 10 slots per month for similar-quality flat colored illustrations at $100 for single character, $175 for two characters. These are commission slots, so they are not specifically held for a particular tier. However, they will be offered to patrons FIRST, giving y'all a significant advantage in claiming them! I'll be trying for a first-come, first-serve method, we'll see how well that goes! If there are any slots leftover after these 10 are put up on my Patreon Discord for a full day, I'll open the remainders to non-patrons over on Twitter. Everything else will be very similar, the form and the quality, the ability to double up with a friend, the round-up at the end of the month.

The only difference will be that now all tiers of patrons can apply and you can pick and choose when you want a piece done rather than having to come up with something each month, which I know was occasionally stressful. Of course, the other difference will be that I will send invoices to those who get slots and charge them accordingly. Your patreon subscription fee does not affect the slot prices, but rather gains you access to first-dibs AND to exclusives/early access/discord perks.

Like I said, this wasn't an easy choice to make, but I believe that this is the best step to help my physical health which has been struggling lately due to hand pain, and my burn-out levels. Slowly, but surely, the quality of platinum pieces kept climbing upward until I can no longer call them 'sketches'. I thank all of you for your patience and understanding with me as I continue to evolve and tailor things to the ever-changing pace of life.

For those of you who were also curious about Bean Academy, I'm afraid my news isn't great. Because of the severe lag in production this month due to health reasons, I have fallen behind on planning lessons and lectures for the Drawing 1 class. I want to do this right and give y'all a good experience so I'm tentatively postponing another month. I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. I'll be seeing a doctor soon and hopefully be able to balance out my work and my health a little bit better.

As always, thank you so much for your support over these months and I appreciate it more than you know~
