Naruto: Time guardian Chapter 5

Mito stared at the boy infront of her. The God has given her every information about all the twenty five reincarnatiors. And the possible ten on her hit list. And their actions which will cause the destruction of the world.
Among the twenty five, only eight reincarnated persons are alive right now. Among them, she has to kill three. Or to change their actions.
Itachi Uchiha, one of the reincarnators. Although he is not on her hit list. But it's always better to be cautious .
"Hello Kushina !" Mikoto Uchiha greeted her best friend. "How have you been ?"
"I am fine, Mikoto." Her mother entered the kitchen to help.
"Itachi, take the kids outside. But don't go too far." Fugaku said to Itachi.
Itachi nodded and called out to his younger brother."Sasuke, come down."
Mito looked at her father. He nodded giving permission. Naruto as a ball of energy instantly skipped towards Sasuke, Itachi's younger brother.

Mito looked at the boys. Her brother and Itachi's brother were fighting over which fish is stronger in the small pond.
She focused on her studies. She has to focus on it, with a little time on her hand.
She didn't notice when time passed. And now Naruto and Sasuke were fighting over whose older sibling is better.
They were at the backyard of their house. Now Minato and Fugaku are sitting inside the house behind them.
"Hey nee chan ! Please fight him for me ! Pretty please !"
Mito stared at her brother. Both trolls are now busy convincing their respective elder sibling to fight for them.
What did Mito do ?
She agreed. Not because of Naruto's puppy eyes. But because she wanted to see exactly how much of a threat Itachi Uchiha really is. She had heard many things in the village about the young genius from Uchiha clan. Is it because of his knowledge from his previous life ?
Mito wondered.
It seemed that Itachi agreed as well.
Both of them went to stand opposite to each other.
"What are you kids doing ?" Minato asked coming outside.
"Don't worry dad, it's just a sparring ! Teme didn't agreed that Mito nee is better." Naruto said happily.
"Naruto ! Don't say such a thing to your friend !" Naruto got scolded by her father.
"Let them play Minato. They are kids." Uchiha Fugaku said to Minato.
"Fine, but don't go too far ."
Mito stared at her opponent. He was five years older than her. Already a chunin.
""Begin"" both Naruto and Sasuke said in unison.
Mito went straight for the vitals fully intend to kill.
Itachi's eyes were wide. He instantly activated his Sharingan. Mito knew the uses of Sharingan from the books from her mom's library.
So instead of his eyes, she concentrated on his forehead.
Ofcourse she would stop before landing a killing blow. But her intention was clear. But as an assassin, it was her main priority. Itachi dodged her strike to the neck. Itachi launched a counterattack . A punch to the gut. In response Mito jumped to the air.
Spinning by, she tried another kick to his neck.
Itachi dodged it as well. But then she saw Naruto gasping for breath from the corner of her eyes .
"Stop !" She heard her father from the corners.
She stopped. Then turning around Mito saw Sasuke was in same condition as Naruto. She was confused. What happened ?
"What's happening ? Who's trying to attack ?"
Both Kushina and Mikoto ran outside.
"Who's killing intent was that ?"
Mikoto asked.
"Mito !" Her mother called her out.
"What happened ?"
"I... I don't know." Mito was really confused now.
"Such killing intent.... I have never felt like this before." Fugaku muttered.

"So, you don't know what were you doing ?" Minato asked Mito.
"I wanted to win. Assuming he is stronger I went for the kill." Mito explained.
"Sigh*What were you doing is producing killing intent. Most shinobi even doesn't possess killing intent. But you were going for the kill. Remember. Never do that with a comrade."
Minato said sternly.
"Understood." Mito nodded.
"Let it go Minato. She's just a kid. But I have to say that she might be a bigger prodigy than Itachi." Fugaku said.
"Yes enough of the gloomy talk. Let's go eat." Kushina tried Minato to drop the matter.
Kushina is aware of the mental state of Mito after the attack.
Her daughter is special.
When the attackers tried to kill her, she killed them. She didn't enjoy killing or tormenting others. But she didn't felt any guilt over the matter. They would have tried to harm her and her brother so she killed them. Simple as that.

"Alright, let's go eat. You don't seems to have control over your killing intent. So I will teach you that latter."

Both the families ate dinner together . After some small talk, they took farewell and then returned home.

That night Minato taught Mito about killing intent.
