I won't lie, from what I gather the sole reason why Elle is so hated in the CM fandom is because she wasn't nice to Reid in 2x5. Literally, that's it.

2021-01-31 19:30:56 +0000 UTCVery good call on how Elle is dressed. Very buttoned up, it makes her feel very closed off and on guard. Tbh, I get why Elle is (so irrationally) mad at Hotch. He had his own family taken to a hotel because he knew that they could be in danger, but then he sends her home with a clearly inexperienced agent? I always found it weird that they didn't just let her sleep in the FBI building for a bit... Spinach is amazing! Also, this little girl at the end did a better job escaping/fighting her would-be killer than 95% of other cases :O I think this makes Elle the first killer on the show to get away with murder! (Side note: have you ever watched How to get away with murder? It's amazing! :D)

2021-01-31 19:20:26 +0000 UTCIt always makes me sad when you skip the credits for some reason... Haha Like, I know that a lot of people skip them and there's nothing wrong with that. But for some reason it just makes me so sad! Hahaha This episode is so good! I actually rewatched it not long ago. When it's a kid who is actually killing people it's so fucked up! Cuz kids represent innocence and purity, so when a kid is doing something so awful it's just so creepy. And it helps that Cameron is such a good actor. (BABY IAN! Haha) And it was such a fucked up way of thinking, but also such a childish way. Kids are kinda like "Oh, I want to do this and so I will." and "That's mine, you shouldn't be taking it from me." Which is kinda how he was thinking about his Dad and how he was spending more time with other kids. I'm so glad you like Elle. She gets so much hate from the fans and it makes me so sad. I love her. Like you, she's not my favourite, but she's pretty great imo. Garcia trying to creep Reid out over the phone was hilarious. Poor Spence! Then JJ telling Morgana and Reid that story and getting them all concerned and freaked out, only to reveal she made the whole thing up. Love that! I feel awful for the Dad! First his wife leaves him, then his son starts murdering kids. I knew all along who it was this episode because I'd seen before that Cameron played a little psycho on Criminal Minds and had also googled which episode he was in just cuz I was looking forward to seeing him... Hahaha I wouldn't worry about Elle's replacement. :) And although JJ and Garcia aren't properly in the field, they're still badass and I adore them both! <333
