B99 definitely has these small moments where you can really some attention to detail... and then some others, where you can't :D "It's kinda weird how in most sitcoms one of the characters used to be fat"... not that weird. Comedy and fatphobia have always gone hand in hand, if we're honest. It's kind of like the low-hanging fruit of comedy imo. That's why it's everywhere x) I'm quite honestly bored of that kind of humor, it's so overdone

2022-01-31 07:30:45 +0000 UTCIt has been mentioned that Amy smokes before. It was very brief though. It was in the episode where the Squad were all doing their self evaluations. Holt asked Amy what her biggest flaw was and she made a list and on it was that she occasionally smoked. Then later in the episode she asked Jake what he thought and he then recited the list as he'd found it after she threw it away. But it was just a very small thing up until now. Also Terry being fat in the past has been a thing since the first episode. Holt mentioned that when he last saw Terry he was significantly larger and Terry mentioned he'd had the nickname Terry Titties. :) (It's kinda weird how in most sitcoms one of the characters used to be fat...) But yeah, it was sweet that they all took time out of their days to help her quit. (:
