2022-05-25 20:24:48 +0000 UTCSo the reason Damon Wayans Jr left was that he was already on a show called Happy Endings that didn't have great ratings so he filmed the pilot of New Girl, then Happy Ending's got renewed and so he was committed to that show. So glad you're reacting to this show. It's one of my all-time fav sitcoms and I feel it doesn't get talked about enough. And btw, Damon Wayans Jr's other show "Happy Endings" is pretty great too.

2022-05-25 03:47:18 +0000 UTCI have never seen New Girl, but I love Zooey Deschanel! Did you realize Zooey is sisters with Emily Deschanel (Temperance "Bones" Brennan) from Bones! In fact in a later season Zooey guest stars on an episode of Bones as Bones' cousin! She is hilarious! I do like the first 2 episodes! I cannot wait to see more.
