OCTOBER REWARDS FINAL

shapeshifter8 A being that grants wishes to varying levels of the wish makers greed. The more the host desires the stronger it gets. it’s current host is Victoria who progressively becomes more entitled, needy and bratty. The more she demands the stronger the being gets. Killer-Vossler be careful what you wish for as you might just get it a warning to those in the Underside when near a wishing star, as a that wish will be granted and twisted and turns into your worst nightmare. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To end things for the Premium stuff, here's another entity within the Underside, and one of it's primary gods... This is the Wishing Star. Also known as The Star, the Longing Star, The Shooting Star, Starfell God, Luminary, Starman, The Star of Desire, Wishmaker, Wish Titan, and Dreamweaver, and with him are the Harlequin Luminaries also known as Star Clowns. While the Candyman is a powerful entity within the Underside and many fear him and what he is capable of, his power pales in comparison to that of the Wishing Star. The wishing Star is one of a pantheon of gods called the Cycle, or the Dayn'night. The Wishing Star, the Smiling Moon, and the Dead Sun. There are other gods, such as the nevermind, the Bedskin King, The Spirit of Fun, The Hand, Imagun, and the First Child, but the ones that are actually seen by the kids daily are these strange entities. The night sky of the Underside has a large, smiling crescent moon, and many five pointed stars that look like glow in the dark stickers on a black and blue canvas, and one very notable one that is bright yellow and has two dot eyes and a line smile. Every now and then stars may twinkle a different color, and sometimes people can be seen on the moon, but every now and then, you may see a star fall out of the sky. There are smaller events that get children excited as well, such as a skyfall in which meteor like fragments called star fragments, fall from the sky down to the planet and crash, leaving behind small glittering star like objects that glow in the dark. They are chunks of the moon or stars, but not entire objects, and so they only hold a bit of magic power. They could also be Wish Tears, red crystal teardrops that fall from the Wishing Star's blood. These objects can be sold for a lot of money or trade, and they can be used by builders and spellcasters to make magic items such as star wands, Star swords, Space Guns, or with the tears they can create Space clown pendants, which call space clowns to aid you. However the true cosmic event that literal dreams are made of, is the Starfall. The stars always remain in the same location in the sky in the Underside, and so one may notice if a star's position has changed, and if it is noticed by the community, star parties will begin to fall with kids waiting for the event. Sometimes it doesn't happen, however every now and then, a star will slip from the void and come tumbling down. When it does it will ignite, sailing across the sky and lighting up for all to see before it crashes to the ground far away. When this happens, children from all over will gather their resources and begin to make a pilgrimage to the site in reverence to the Wishmaker. These stars harbor an insane cosmic power the likes of which man cannot comprehend. To find a wishing star first, means that you can pick it up and clasp your hands around it and say "Star light, star bright, First star I see tonight; I wish I may, I wish I might Have the wish I wish tonight." The wisher must then cast the star back up. Upon doing so, the star will stick in the air. From moonbeams and starlight, two lanky clowns will emerge, dancing and leaping. These clowns are nearly 10 feet tall, and will leap about doing various spins and dances along the stardust, while a form begins to emerge. The figure, having caught the star, will appear as a void of red and white stars with a deep red glow emerging from the event horizon of it's void like body. It's form is like that of a deformed baby with spines down it's back and a small tail, and it's head is massive and long and has two uneven horns. It's face appears to be a bright yellow, 5 pointed star with a smile and two little black eyes. However it will smile and open it's mouth, revealing that the creature's true eye lies within, pitch black, with a burning red iris and surrounded by an eye that looks like a solar eclipse. The eye will bleed and the star will ripple and change in scintillating colors as other stars of various colors dance about them. The Wishing star will then look at you and the clowns will bow. At this point, some children hear nothing, while others hear voices, and a commanding one above the rest asking what they truly desire. It is then that the creature may make a wish. It is unknown what the wishes limitations can be, however there have been world changing wishes seen by children that have been on the playground for lifetimes. Some have seen the rise and fall of nations, The death of a powerful enemy, the cure to a terrible disease, the erasure of an entire race of creatures, and even freedom. Some Children gather the star and then make a wish to go home, and like that they are sent beyond... or at least, they seem to be. No one can truly know. Children fought for years to obtain these stars, making wishes that would benefit themselves. "I wish to be king of Toylandia!". "I wish my my sister was alive.", "I wish I was the strongest!". Many wishes were cast, and many powerful children were created. Those who wished for kingdoms, would gain respect and love from their followers, and as the power went to their heads and their kingdom reached it's apex, rebellion and envy would befall them and lead to their death. Those wishing back relatives, would find them returned, but acting strangely, or even if no one noticed it, the wisher would be paranoid that something was wrong with them, or they would return to life, but as they are now, decayed, and stuck screaming, buried in the molasses swamp. Those who wished for strength may gain the power of the stars, the ability to fire rays of light from their eyes, to fly, to be indestructible. And yet the power might be their undoing as they destroy everything around them, or their minds become lost as their bodies direct all of their functionality to becoming stronger. Pure hearted wishes, such as "I wish I was happy" could even backfire as that becomes the only emotion that you can feel. Yet they almost never happen immediately unless the wish was for an immediate and not ongoing effect. Time after time, the power corrupts and slowly the wish becomes a nightmare. Victoria here is making a wish to be a queen and get everything she wants whenever she wants it... Surely that wish will not cause misery for everyone around her... With a wish cast, the Wishing star would hand the star back to the child, and it's power would flood through them. The star's color would change based on the wish requested. Green representing envious wishes, Red angry wishes, purple greedy wishes, Blue for sad wishes, and so on... These stars would etch themselves into the child's eyes, their pupils glowing with the color and intensity of the star, and it would be bound to them in some way, either becoming an article of clothing, a tattoo, or embedding itself into their bodies. The star would brand them and they would gain their wish as the eye of the titan bled. Children granted this star power, are often times looked up to and revered, and even if they had no following before, they will gain one after they obtain it's power. These children are called Chosen, Star Children, Star Chosen, Wish Kids, Star bearers, Wishbabies, and other various names depending on where on the playground you're from. If the wish was an instant thing, such as wishing for food, or to be taller, the star will merge with you, but if you wish for a position of power, the star will instead be a physical object that grants you power and is ever changing to aid in fulfilling your wish, but these can be taken by other children wishing to have what you do. On one occasion, a boy named Jack fought through the armies of children that had formed, following their various leaders and ideals, fighting to claim the wishing star, and Jack emerged victorious. But he stood his enemies up and said that he wished for all of them to benefit, even if they had been fighting, and he wanted everyone to be free. They agreed, and together they stood before the Wishmaster and requested a most kind and thoughtful wish. Jack wished for the Underside to be set free and for all of the children to return home. As the children rose up into the air and began to vanish one at a time, it became suddenly apparent that the wishing star had interpreted it as his own home that he had built in the underside. Thousands of children were instantly transported to the inside of his home where the collective weight blended many of them into a pulp and the house exploded in viscera. Because there were so many children, not all of them were crushed, and some only sustained minor injuries from the event, but thousands died that day, and more died in the days afterward as monsters mauled the unprepared children whom had all been transported, some hundreds of miles away, and many of them were unprepared for the trek home or to defend themselves from the creatures that descended upon the location. The smell of rot filled the Underside for years afterward, and it's believed that over 65% of the child population of the Underside died that day. That was also the day that the children learned of the true, terrifying power of the wishing star. Their wishes became specific, focused, they tried to find loopholes and close them up with huge, run on sentences to cover every aspect of the wish, but doing so would anger the star, and as it would turn away, it's clowns would display disgusted and enraged faces before your flesh was rent from your bones. Some would take the star and not make a wish, thinking they would save it for later, and they were hunted down by the clowns and the other children until the clowns retrieved it or a wish was made. These deterrents did not prevent children from making wishes however. They knew there to be a risk, but still they would heed the call of power and travel to the star, putting together bands of children and nominating leaders to make their wish should they get there. Some children formed churches and began to worship the Wishing Star. The Twinkling Church is one such establishment, which categorizes where the stars are, gives meaning to various constellations, and even draws power from the stars on occasion by knowing when to pray to the stars as they alight and keeping records of all of the wishes made. They are led by the grand Star, whom has historically been a wishbaby herself named Lullabye Beth who directs the Star Knights, kids who use the knowledge and devotion of the stars to fuel their imagination and protect other kids. There's also the group known as Silent Night. They adopt the personas of the Star Clowns, dressing like jesters, and if they find star fragments or any cosmic objects, they make star symbols and call a star clown and return it to them, often times for rewards. Some of them have begun to gain the dead, eclipse eyes of the star clowns themselves. Other groups, like the Starchasers, are a mobile group that use various vehicles and mobile bases, and keep themselves stocked up so they may move out at a moment's notice to wherever a star may fall. It's believed that there are three Star Bearers within their group, and it's thought that one made a wish to always win, and that's why they keep finding the stars first. The final group however related to them, is the Starkillers. A group of children who track down the starchosen and attempt to kill them. Some do so because they feel it to be unnatural, others do so because they want to claim the power themselves. They are led by a boy named Starslayer, who seems to be a starchosen himself and claims that his wish allowed him to leave the Underside. However he won't talk about what happened on the other side, or how or why he returned, just that he returned with a mission to kill the Wishing Star. The Wishing Star is rarely ever seen outside of granting wishes to creatures, though occasionally it's bleeding eye can be seen opening in the night sky. It is thought to be unstoppable and immortal however as no one has ever seen it get harmed, and any person or creature that attempts to attack it is met with a swift and sudden death. The Wishing Star has only been seen in actual combat twice, once against the Nevermind for some reason, though the dispute seemed to end with no victor. And once against the Dead Sun, which is why the sun is dead in the first place.... The Star Clowns however are another story. Often times seen hanging out in the sky, sitting on stars and pantomiming things to one another, they will leap around , sit on the moon, or skip down to the planet. Star Clowns are always silent like mimes, and share some qualities with them, such as being able to perform imaginary actions, however these actions tend to actually exist within our reality, and as such a star clown pretending to throw a lasso, may actually pull back and reel someone in, or their pretending to be in a box may actually protect them. They dance and weave through the air, moving gracefully and silently observing from a distance. Some of them may be seen watching children, and some may even be friendly, bringing a child something that it dropped, or helping one up that's fallen down and been hurt before sending it on it's way. They seem to collect things that fall from the stars and return them, and they are not hesitant to kill creatures that have what they want. When something falls from the space dome, they will go down to collect it, however if the children are too quick, it may be gone by the time they get there, and some may give chase, taking back the item and killing the kid for having it. This includes not only meteor and star fragments, but drops of blood that fall from the Wishing Star's eye, or dead star clowns themselves. All the same if a star falls and they reach it before a kid does, they may kill any children who try to get close. If a child finds the star and doesn't make a wish on it, all of the star clowns within the area will descend upon the child and leave nothing but scraps where the kid once was. Their eyes look like eclipses, just as the wishing star's eye does, and they will often times look into the eyes of a creature and make the creature die through hemorrhage. When an autopsy was done on a girl who held a star fragment, who died after meeting these clowns, her brain was found to have been punctured straight through as if someone took a cookie cutter shaped like a star and removed a chunk from it. This isn't the first time it's been seen as they also make star shapes with their hands on occasion and can punch star shaped holes through objects and creatures. If five of them get together and put their pointer and index finger in the shape of a V and touch tip to tip, they make a 5 pointed star, and can cause a beam of light to tear through the area they point at, or they can summon the wishing star on some occasions. Those killed by the Star clowns have eyes like they do, as well as like the wishing star, the black void with an eclipse in the center, and often times bleeding. Star clowns can be killed, and they are capable but not all powerful. If a Star clown is killed, often times the other Star clowns will come to claim it's body and return to the sky. They do not enjoy stealing things from them, however, and will fight you if you attempt to claim something that belongs to them. If you are able to do so before the clowns arrive however, you may be in luck. The pompoms on their outfits seem to grant luck to those who hold them, and the star masks they wear, though fused with their face, can be turned into magic masks or hats that make it so you no longer need to breathe. Their skin can also be used to make an incredibly durable armor similar to chainmail but with the flexibility of latex. Their insides glow like glow slime or the contents of a Glow stick, and is a deep red, but can be used as face paint to grant a child increased acrobatic ability. Clowns will hunt you if they know you have any of this, and it's incredibly hard to get due to the clowns reclaiming said items. It is said however that members of the Silent Night Club do not get accosted by clowns when collecting things from them, and sometimes when one of them dies, a clown will take them into the sky.... Victoria has been given all of her wishes from the Wishing Star and with it she's become a massive, fat, spoiled brat. She rules over some of these kids with an iron fist, and they answer to her every whim because of her demanding attitude, and because of her status as a Starchosen. The Wishing Star looms above her, feeding on the energy she's gathered from her wishes, and the lives effected around her, waiting for the bubble to burst. Speaking of, one of Victoria's guards back there seems like she may be growing tired of Victoria's rule. That tum is gonna be taut by the end of the night, lets hope she doesn't decide to see how durable it is with that spiked spear... It was fun drawing a super fat Victoria here. Victoria seems to get in situations where she would surely die, but then pops up again somewhere else in the future... Hmmm... Maybe Victoria needs her own creature entry some day.
